Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Santiago do Cacém

This house is beautifully located in a very quiet and private area, accessible through a dirt track for about 5 minutes of typical Alentejo surroundings: cork tree and olive tree hills, with sheep and cows roaming free. The house itself is exactly as described and as the pictures. Very comfortable for a family of four, spacious and functional. We particularly enjoyed the outdoors patio with the excellent barbeque, and the pool. We had a few issues with the pool water, which were very promptly taken care of by Sebastião. From the house, it's quick to get to the bigger town of Santiago do Cacém, where you can find everything in the daily food market, and also large supermarkets. The nearest beach is Melides, which is about 30 minutes away, then Sines, Saõ Torpes, Porto Covo and Santo André to the south, and Comporta to the north, all about a 45-minute drive away. Very nice holiday, would highly recommend.

Dear Joana and Nuno, I wanted to express my deep gratitude for the opportunity to stay at your establishment. The check-in and check-out process was quick and hassle-free. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed, and comfortable. The impeccable cleanliness, quality mattress, sheets, and towels were exceptional, details that are often overlooked in many places. Little touches like these make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the bottle of local wine, cheese, and freshly baked bread offered to me upon arrival were a lovely gesture. The ambiance of the place left me with a feeling of tranquility and well-being. I appreciate the good taste and additional amenities, such as the keyboard and mouse next to the flat-screen TV, which made it possible for me to work remotely optimally. It has been a memorable experience, and I definitely plan to repeat it in the future. Thank you very much for everything.

We (family with children) felt very comfortable. The house is very bright, friendly, airy and generous. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen is well equipped for a vacation home. All beds were very comfortable. Surroundings is quiet, close to nature with sheep and even vineyards. Loggia and terrace offer nice opportunities to stay outside. The road to the house is very good for an agricultural road. The communication was always very quick and very friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Well-equipped accommodation with a heavenly environment! We loved staying a few days in this house which allows a real change of scenery. Only minor downside: the presence of ants despite the products available to get rid of them and the neighbors' dogs who barked a lot during the night. Thanks to Filipa for her responsiveness and kindness which contributed to the quality of the stay. We would recommend it in a second :)

All great! Quiet location and private space, shady places. Piscina could be a little larger but overall 5 stars, very good for groups.

The house was so charming and comfortable. So much nicer in person than the pictures portray. It was always a delight to come back home to this cosy little refuge. We were weather beaten after days at various stunning beaches, so coming back to the oasis of a garden and comfortable house was a delight each day. Proper furniture, to relax in, unlike some other stays, plus the house was fitted out with everything you could / would need. A real home from home. Handy amount of land in addition to the garden on the property, so our dog was happy and had plenty of room to explore, shelter and relax. The bakery in the village supplies the most amazing cakes/ treats / delights. I’d recommend anyone staying to stock up from there! Ines was super helpful and flexible. We arrived early and she was incredibly accommodating. Lots of help to find the dog friendly beaches too, so that was great. We loved this little house and it’s high timber ceilings. Correu beautifully and the house is very quiet. The only problem was the showers that were not very good. The water or skirt too hot to scald or cold skirt. The rest went very well

The house is amazing, better than the photos! We went in a group of 9 friends and couldn't be a better choice. Villa very good rooms, the showers with incredible pressure and a breathtaking view. We had a little bit of bad luck over time what you didn't give to enjoy the space in its entirety but it has some porches and terraces with a very good pool. Isolated and very quiet site, which made us really comfortable. I highly recommend it. Patrícia is an amazing host, super responsive, with lots of suggestions and always ready to help you have a better experience. Thank you! ☺️

For the second time we stayed at this property and it is so easy to feel at home. Sossegado, ideal for relaxing, the pool is great and we always visit dogs/cats in the neighborhood who are super affectionate. It does not make you want to go home, but to extend your stay. We will return a third time for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Andreias house. It is located rural and very quietly which we enjoyed a lot. The interior is lovingly furnished and communication with Andreia went totally well. We would love to come back one day!

Amazing stay with friends and kids. Great scenery and pool

Lovely peaceful house with great outdoor space, the dogs enjoyed the walking from the house and the pool was a bonus and well maintained. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was easy to find with google maps.

Our three days stay at this beautiful farmhouse was a breath of fresh air! Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, we were able to recharge in nature with my colleagues. The house is simply charming, tastefully decorated and offering all the comforts necessary for a perfect stay.

Had wonderful days in the Alentejo with our family. Beautiful setting! Just the sound of sheep, birds, horses and dogs. Licinia is a really friendly hostess who welcomes you. She also has tips for the surroundings. Beautiful beaches of the Alentejo. A car is a must! We enjoyed it!

We loved our stay at Paulo’s place. The accommodations are basic but the setting is absolutely beautiful. We loved getting to sit on the chairs out back or take a stroll among the cork trees. It’s about a 20-min drive to the restaurants and amenities of Porto Covo. Overall, great stay and Paulo was a wonderful and communicative host.

We spent two wonderful weeks with our two hunting dogs in Noam's house. The large property and the quiet rural location were ideal for us. We were able to harvest fresh oranges, figs and vegetables from the garden. By car we explored the beautiful surroundings, with its small towns and visited the fantastic beaches. It doesn't get any better 😀

We just returned after about ten days with family (3 children), we loved this accommodation, extremely quiet and secluded, and close to the beaches of Porto Covo and its surroundings (8-9 minutes by car), very well equipped, hammock facing the sea, large living room, covered terrace behind the kitchen side kitchen for board games evenings...thank you again!

House with all amenities and everything in great condition. The hill is the right place to recharge. For the adults, it was great for the conversation and the reading up. The kids, between the pool, bikes ( which Helena was a darling and arranged in time for our stay), games with balls, and snoker, were always busy and didn't even hear them. obama, my four-legged old man, was happy and content with all the space he had at his disposal and he was very grateful for the bone they were so nice to leave. Vitor is one the best host ever, the house has positive vibes, everything was just on top, and you have the calmest house while you have access to all services with feet only. And some of Portugal's most beautiful beaches are just a half-hour's drive away. Thanks for these 5 weeks of pure happiness!

Great! Privacy and contact with nature. Perfect for families and guests with dogs. The kids and our pet loved the freedom to explore the big green space. A beautiful swimming pool and plenty of space to live and unwind. We stayed at the bungalow, which is very well equipped, with everything you need (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi and AC). At night, we had a starry sky and only the sounds of nature could be heard. The hosts were excellent, very friendly and available. Privileged location (close to Praia dos Avaidos and Praia do Malhão) with access to Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo. We'll be back soon!
