We were very warmly welcomed by Maria Helena, a super sweet lady. She showed us around the house and gave various tips. We enjoyed the full fruit basket on the table and the delicious pastry which was a nice surprise. It is a house with character and it is tastefully decorated. There were plenty of bath towels and fresh sheets. The kitchen was completely complete, we didn't miss anything. It was also fine to spend time outside. A covered south-facing terrace with a BBQ that we have used several times. There is a washing machine and also washing lines and pegs. The village was within walking distance and there were regularly festivities. In short, we had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Beautiful and welcoming house. We enjoyed our stay but what stood out last was the warm welcome and delicious local delicacies that Sandra’s family had put out for us on arrival. Communication with the host was perfect during our stay and even offering our children visits to farm to feed the goats was very kind. The house is stunning a good mix of traditional and modern, plus you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

The village of paradinha is a place that steals your mind. Swimming in the river, peaceful nights and great places to explore near by are the extras of this rental. The house was as described, particularly enjoyed the views from the small old windows. Thank you so much Olga!

The place is comfortable and well cared for, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The elderly lady who manages the place is extraordinary. She is very friendly, helpful and always ready to give great advice. Your hospitality makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this apartment to those looking for tranquility and nature. We had an amazing stay here. We found the peace and quiet we were looking for in a beautiful environment. Lucas, and his mother who speaks french, waited for us in town to escort us to the house. We felt very welcome before we even arrived. Even though we arrived late, we were given a big tour of the house, terrain and animals, which the kids loved. The house fits the description and did not disappoint, the outside is beautiful.

Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

We had a great two-week family stay at this beautiful villa. The house is very spacious, pleasant and well-equipped. Its cleanliness is impeccable, the garden is large and well maintained, the children were even able to cycle there. Antonio was an amazing and very hospitable host. He ensured the cleanliness of the pool throughout our stay, was good at giving advice for activities and restaurants to visit. We will keep a great memory of it and can only recommend Antonio and his beautiful and large house. Obrigada por tudo Antonio!

The accommodation is in one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Portugal. The village of Nodar is miniature and picturesque. A river almost goes around the village surrounded by mountains. For nature lovers and small old villages it's a real favorite. The place is also amazing, but the charm of the village gives it a big bonus.

Beautiful clean and well decorated home and Fátima is an amazing host always in reach and ready to assist us with anything. We will definitely be staying there again in the future, thank you Fátima for making our stay even more enjoyable.
