Monthly Rentals in Saplunara

This little bay is a piece of paradise. The apartments are spot on (comfy well equipped cute immaculate) and are within 2 mins on foot to a simple but perfect beach bar, 3 lovely beaches (one with nothing but sand, 2 with some low key facilities), 10 mins on foot to the supermarket and 3 restaurants. I can’t think how it could be improved upon! And the smiliest host 😊 we came for 2 nights and stayed for 5. If you want to see more of Mljet you’ll need a car / scooter but if you just want to enjoy a peaceful few days on sandy beaches with ice cold white Croatian wine and stunning clear blue seas then this is paradise.

Great stay at Petar flat. Petar is very kind. The appartement is small, but very nice and well located, ie closed to the beach. You have access to a large terrace with a great view on the beach. You can park your car just in front of the appartment.

The apartment is clean and offers all you need to spend a great time on Mljet. Saplunara is an hidden gem, far from mass tourism. We just didn’t expect to be so close from other apartments. It wasn’t a problem but the neighbor’s terrace was right next to the one of the apartment.

Tomislav and his family are so kind, lovely and helpful. The apartment was totally clean and equipped with everything we needed, the terace was quiet. We picked fresh pomegranates from the garden and they even have three little turtles there. Moreover, three lovely beaches are close by aswell as a little supermarket (open even on sundays til late in the evening). Since the apartment is very much in the south, the nationalpark is quite far and you definitely have more fun if you have your own/rented vehicle, otherwise it is hard (or expensive) to get around the island. We had no car/motorbike rented and the taxi to the apartment was 35€ from the port. Furthermore, you should definitely stay there at least one week, the island has much to discover. Unbelievable that this untouched, calm jewel exists although the city of Dubrovnik is only 3 hours away by ferry.
