The house is located with less than 1 hour's journey to: Bø with summer land and climbing park Kongsberg with the Silver Mines and Alpine Centre/Ski Center Rjukan with World Heritage, bathing land, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross country Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell To Notodden with Bluesfestival, Stavkirka, Telemarksgalleriet and World Heritage it is about 30 min drive. Just pick and choose experiences and trips or enjoy quiet days and the good life in the countryside.

The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Experience charming Lysli, a cozy house perfectly located along highway 38 in beautiful Vrådal. Here you have hiking trails and ski slopes literally right outside the door and a short way to the area's many attractions. 1 km to Vrådal city center with grocery, cafe, gallery and rental of rowboat, kayak and canoe. 3 km to Vrådal Panorama ski center and 5 km to Vrådal golf course. The house is also perfectly located between east and west for you passing through, but we recommend staying a few days to enjoy the area.

Cabin in the middle of everything Telemark has to offer. The cabin is centrally located at Jønnbu (Lifjell), but at the same time it is secluded by a small lake. Great hiking areas with fishing waters, mountain tops and marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Lifjellstua (restaurant) is located 150 m from the cabin. Bø Sommarland and Høyt&Lavt 8-9 km away.
