The Loire, the Vienne, La Collégiale, Le château de Montsoreau, l 'Abbaye de Fontevraud, les troglodytes, les restaurants. At the end of the day, a small flare at the corner of the bed is possible. Stop it for a little break!

This turreted hideaway forms the East Tower of a 15th century château - featured in a number of UK homes & interiors magazines. The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

In Montsoreau, one of the "most beautiful villages" of France, amazing views, and small shops within walking distance; located between Saumur and Chinon! Famous castles, abbeyes, exceptional gardens, white, red and bubbly wineries, most of them within 10 to 60 min. The house is perfect for one or two couples, but can welcome 6 guests. Market every week, small grocery store, butcher, bakery, 4 restaurants in the village. Great antique market once a moth on the banks of the Loire.

You will stay in the 14th part of the former home of the Abbesses' Seneschal of Justice. This independent apartment, completely restored by an architect, combines the charm of a historic building with contemporary comfort. From your private terrace, you can watch the sunsets over the abbey. You are located 20 m from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and its museum, as well as all the shops and restaurants in the village. The banks of the Loire are a 5-minute drive away.

For active people, come and discover the Châteaux de la Loire, the troglodytes, tours and tastings in the cellars, discover the Loire on cruise boats, and our culinary specialties (fouées).
