Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location overlooking the Bamberg Town Hall, stylishly decorated with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the waterfront building followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The façade was restored in May 2026 with great attention to detail and now shines again in all its glory next to the town hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968. Before that, it was a pharmacy for 200 years.

A bakery, butcher and supermarket are almost around the corner and in the village there are inns with good home cooking and home-brewed beer. The Main and quarry lakes in the vicinity provide cooling on hot days.

The Obermain Therme, Vierzehnheiligen and Banz Monastery are a 15-minute drive away. Climbing enthusiasts also have it not far to Franksiche Switzerland. Children are welcome but unfortunately the apartment does not have a changing table, etc. Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, but is allowed on the balcony.
