Even on the sunniest days, these lakes remain quiet and uncrowded, frequented only by locals in the know. Firewood is provided (please bring your own lighter and firestarters ) and making a fire is part of the experience of staying here. The electric heaters are available for a little extra support and to keep the temperature during the night!

In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.
