Lovely apartment with views of the Loire River, perfectly located on the main plaza across from the chateau (less than five minute walk). Free parking garage (huge bonus, but difficult to locate at first ... walk to the right of the front door, then circle around behind the building on the riverside). Comfortable beds. Bathroom is split between a shower room with sink (attached to one of the bedrooms, but accessible from either side) and a toilet room. Fantastic coffee maker grinds fresh beans on demand. A bit noisy at night on the weekend due to setting up the excellent market which is just outside the front door. Note: for those with limited mobility, it is located on the European second floor (American third floor) with no elevator.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Amboise. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment is quite large with 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets. Everything is within walking distance of the apartment. We even used the bikes available with the apartment, it was perfect. There is no outdoor space with the apartment, which may be missing on sunny days. The terraces in the city center are not far away, so that's not a real problem.

I reccomend this house 100%! Philippe is a great host, the house is 4min walking to the train station and 7min walking to the city center, perfect for parking as well. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bathroom is very clean. There is a small garden that we couldn't enjoy due to the rain but it is really calm and green.

immediately upon entering, it felt like a home and was very warm and inviting. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked and was easy to cook in (we did cook) and overall we felt very comfortable and relaxed inside. The apartment was quiet and with the many windows it afforded lots of natural light inside the unit. The beds were comfy we slept well. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Sophie's place when visting Amboise, you would not be disappointed.

Six nights from April 19 to 25, 2025 in "Amboise Centro - Ground Floor of La Maison des Cochers", Amboise, France. Amboise is a pretty town, ideal for visiting many of the more than 300 Castles of the Loire, starting from Amboise Castle, where the great Leonardo da Vinci rests, in the Chapel of Saint-Hubert, and the Castle of Clos Lucé, where Leonardo has lived his last three years of life. Pascale's apartment is close to downtown and castles, a two-minute walk from a large free parking lot, where we have always found a place! The apartment is perfect! Great for a couple, well equipped and very welcoming. 6 STARS!!! Pascale was always easily accessible: unfortunately it was not possible to meet us, but I am a Host, and I know what can happen. In conclusion, if you want to visit some Castle of the Loire (we saw 7 in 6 days), Amboise is the ideal destination, and Pascale's apartments will be able to welcome you perfectly. Fabio

Perfectly located between the Loire and the castle, close to restaurants and bars. Quality services, we had a great time.

We had a pleasant stay in Mélanie's cottage. Easy to reach, 15 minutes from Beauval Zoo. In addition, the many board games allowed us to have fun all night. It was great, I recommend it plus the host is very welcoming and answers all your questions!

We thoroughly enjoyed Daphné’s beautiful home near the town of Amboise. There’s a peaceful yard with a view to the Loire river, and Daphné could not have been more pleasant and helpful getting us set up. The house had everything we needed, and the master bedroom in particular was very cool.

Nothing else to say. Clean accommodation. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodation. Very well placed compared to Beauval Zoo. Great for organizing the weekend. 😊👍

We booked Cathy and Jean-Noël's apartment for our visit to Beauval Zoo for 1 weekend (25min drive). Even if at first the entrance to the residence seems "in its juice" the apartment is quite up to date. It is perfectly equipped (stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, laundry rack, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner,...) everything you need is there! The clear view and without any vis-à-vis is very much appreciated. Downtown Montrichard is very nice and has all the necessary shops (bakery, butcher, grocer, Super U, Netto...) Regarding the welcome of our hosts, what can be said more than PERFECT!! There's nothing to improve, you're already at your best. Thanks to Cathy for the recommendations of activities, unfortunately we did not have time to visit the area more but we will be back with great pleasure if the opportunity arises again!!

We had a great time at Marie-Paule's house with our 15-month-old daughter. The apartment is spacious and nice. We enjoyed the terrace which is a real plus! The apartment is well equipped with cooking utensils etc. and it is right next to the train station and Château de Blois so very well located. We'll be happy to go back!

Thank you so much for this stay which met our expectations perfectly! The place perfectly matches the photos the setting was beautiful peaceful, quiet and the view was beautiful!! We were very well hosted, the spa was really great!! We chose to opt for massages offered by Marie Thérèse, the host's wife, just above the accommodation at extra cost and it was really able to enhance our stay!! The accommodation is also 5 minutes by car from Blois and a good distance from the Châteaux of the Loire Valley Definitely recommend!!
