Water is collected from the faucet on the porch. The cabin does not have a bathroom as there is no running water. Outdoor shower on the side of the cabin. Wood-burning stove in the living room and a lot of extra wood in the "woodshed". Garden furniture, gas grill, outdoor fireplace and fire pan outside. Fishing opportunities and great areas for picking berries. This is a cabin with simple standard for those who love nature and/or want peace and quiet.

Cabin in Seljord with beach and own motorboat

This is a place where you can enjoy the days, completely unashamed with swimming, sunbathing and barbecuing. Sun from morning to evening and own private beach and jetty. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. The bathroom and laundry room are completely renovated in the fall of 2020. Also included in the rent is a small motor boat as well as kayak. Winter months: The outdoor living room is not insulated, but has a heater. The motorboat is not available due to ice on the water. You may have to park at the main road to walk 50 meters to the cabin due to ice/snow in the steep hill.

The cabin offers beautiful year-round furnished patios, toys/games and all facilities, including a small sauna. Here everything is set for memorable experiences - also for your pet if you want!

Welcome to our cabin! 😊 The cabin is located on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, about 870 m above sea level. It has fantastic views of three lakes and the mountain heath. 😊 Right on the down side of the cabin is worthwhile Tuddal mountain hotel. This is a historic hotel well worth a visit. Attached municipal water and drainage, with fresh and well water in the tap. NB! BED LINEN and TOWELS must BE BROUGHT, but can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 100 per person. Bed sizes: 1x180 cm, 1x150 cm, 1x 120 cm, 3x 75 cm.

Partial electricity. No running water, but there is water on the wall of the neighboring house. (10 meters away) New this year is :shower and laundry room in the basement of the white house 👍

With a short distance to Bø town (10 min) and Sommarland, the Telemarkskanalen, Høyt og Lavt, Lifjell ski center and many beautiful mountain hikes. It is also only 30 min away from Seljord and the many festivals and events that take place there. Here at Suigard Grave you can frolic on the terrace, have a picnic in the garden or, for example, take the 35 min walk up to Gautiltjønna for a refreshing swim in the pond.

From the (free) parking space you must walk 1, 2 km unmarked roads and trails which are sometimes steep and demanding. If you like to hike and surround yourself with nature you will love this cabin.
