Brufjellhulene, Helleren in Jøssingfjord, Jøssingfjord Museum, Ruggesteinen, Løtoft, Lundbadet and Sogndalstrand. Shopping opportunities in the small towns of Egersund and Flekkefjord. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

- Would you like to relax with family or friends in this child-friendly cabin with a great view of the large lake Nisser? The cabin is a traditional Norwegian cabin with high standard. It is located near the beach and the large windows in the living room open up to a fantastic view and spectacular nature. A path leads down to a small beach about 70 meters from the cabin. There you can swim, paddle, or just sunbathe. The cabin invites you to a large terrace, which is furnished with sofa, sun loungers, dining table and private pavilion.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. The cottage is located a little by itself on the outskirts of a farm stun, beautifully located on the slope down towards the idyllic Riskedalsvatnet. From the dining table or terrace there is a view of the water. Built in the late 1980s, the cabin has been completely refurbished with modern colour options in 2020.
