Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Modern functional house in Viga, Spind for rent. The house was built in 2018 and is of a high standard. On the ground floor, you will find a hallway, laundry room, bathroom, TV lounge with a sofa bed, and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room. Fishing and swimming opportunities. The house is located 400 meters above sea level with ski lifts and slopes in winter. The house is suitable for 2 families who want to vacation together.

Unique house - barn from the 18th century converted into a residential house. Historical details in walls, furniture and fixtures - combined with modern comfort. Location centrally on Rauland; one of southern Norway's most beautiful ski and high mountain areas. Short distance to Lake Totak and Rauland's beautiful mountain areas and ski resorts. Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

A very special and well-designed log cabin in Setesdal style. The house has a shoreline facing the Otra River and a spectacular view of Reiårsfossen waterfall, which is nearby. Prepare a nice dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Drive up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the view and tranquility up on the plateau. In the evening, you can enjoy birdsong and sleep in built-in, pink-painted beds. Note: We usually arrange free/flexible check-in and check-out!

Cozy little holiday home

Centrally located in Valle Municipality. Approx. 1 km to the city center. Facilities in the house: Child-friendly, Wi-Fi, SmartTV with BT soundbar Heat pump, fireplace (wood in the garage) Toilet, shower, dishwasher, Stove, coffee maker, fridge, freezer ++ Cleaning is done by you as the tenant. Must bring towels and bed linen yourself (1.50 double bed and 1.80 double bed). In summer, it is a good idea to bring your own drinking water due to well water. We drink from the fountain the rest of the year. You can boil the water if you are in doubt.

Here there is sun from morning to evening, and many opportunities to sit outside, or in the armchairs in front of the large windows. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the amazing views. There are no neighbors. It is a 500m walk to the sea. Possibilities to rent a rowing boat. Great hiking areas.

Forget your worries in this peaceful and spacious place. Enjoy the view and take a trip to the water's edge where you can barbecue and swim. If desired, you can rent a rowboat, if you have a fishing rod you can fish. The area has a literary center, farm food shop, bakery and photo exhibition. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 living rooms, 7 beds, washing machine and dishwasher. The place is shielded from traffic, so a quiet simple overnight stay also fits well. Free parking.

Countryside guesthouse at the gateway to Setesdalen, between Kristiansand and Evje. Hiking trails, river fishing and swimming spots nearby. Enjoy the birdsong in the morning sun on the terrace, and end the day by the firepit or BBQ, with views over forested hills and the Otra river.
