Immaculate place , everything was as described in the ad and the reviews.

Super friendly staff, great location with lots to do around, and a nice clean room. For any soft sleepers like me just know that the beds are very firm!

This is the second time i have stayed at this location and its great as always … took my dad here to fully experience Japanese culture and architectural designs and he couldn’t stop talking about how efficient and well thought out this place was built !!! All in all a success and would 100% come back to stay here again in the future !

Karen was a great host, responsive and punctual. I particularly appreciated the flexibility to leave the luggages at the lobby after the check out - it made it easy for us to enjoy another day in Kyoto with no worries or extra costs :)

Kazuki’s place is truly a gem. He & Deborah were so communicative, providing transport and recommendations for the area. The room is cozy and funky, and the area is so endearing. Mountains, lake, onsen, great food. Perfect way to escape the city - could have stayed much longer.

We had a pleasant stay. The location is perfect. The room is pretty big. The futon mattress is very nice. Everything is good apart from two things. It is absolutely minimalistic. You don’t even have place to leave your wet towel. We had to make tricks in order to figure out how to dry them. Also it wasn’t the cleanest room. There was hair from the previous guest. We also found some trash in the room.
