KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. There is a kitchen/dining area and a full-Bath with western amenities and use of a washing machine on the 1st fl. The 2nd Floor provides 2 adjoining BR separated by shoji screen doors and also includes a half-bath.

I have a cat in my house. The house is on a quiet street about 20 meters from the coast and a 10 minute walk from the port.

Our Japanese style guest house is located near Miyajima. It's in a quiet place. It takes 8 minutes by walk to a ferry landing, train stations(JR station and a street car station). This private room has a private toilet and sink. There are lots of trees behind it. So you might find centipedes or other bugs.
