Great apartment in a great location. Yes up some stairs to the apartment (and more to the top bedroom) but no bother to us. Walkable to both the station and the castle district. Great little shopping precinct nearby (Kyomise) where we bought an excellent chef’s knife at a very reasonable price. Most restaurants need prior reservations but we had a great meal at nearby tavern Dandan. Highly recommend a stay here!

It was a great place to stay with a lot of Showa era retro.We had a comfortable stay in Takashi's polite explanation and a clean room. It is also a good idea for your dog to welcome you.I've never had a dog before so I enjoyed it very much.Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home - it's full of character and charm, set in a peaceful location that made for a truly relaxing stay. One of our favourite moments was watching the sunset from the rooftop - absolutely stunning. The owner is very friendly, flexible, and accommodating - he even gave us mochi on our last day, which was such a kind gesture! One thing to note for future guests: the office space on the property is in use by the owner and staff during weekday working hours. They use the same entrance and facilities, which wasn’t clearly stated in the listing at the time of our booking. While this wasn’t a major issue for us, it’s something to be aware of if you're looking for complete privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.

The host, Yoshioka, was very kind and very reassuring.I drove to visit Izumo Taisha Shrine.I stayed with friends and children.We had a relaxing time together than a hotel, and we had a relaxing sleep in a quiet environment.I really recommend this place because the host is amazing.Everyone we visited with was highly rated.I would like to take care of you again if I have the opportunity.Thank you!
