"A land of scenic spots loved by Manyo people" Miyataki, a small village in Yoshino, is a World Heritage Site and is also known as the "best cherry blossom spot in Japan".This Miyataki used to have an emperor's imperial palace called "Yoshino Palace", and it is also a deep historical place where the Jinshin War took place. Many many songs celebrating the scenery of this Miyagaki are housed in the collection of Manyoshu. And the area where the Yoshino River flows is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai area, and it is bustling with many river guests during the summer vacation.
