The most unique feature of this accommodation is the one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP, from design to production, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can't get anywhere else, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese hearth (irori), a characteristic feature of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
