Kelohonka cabin Kuksa

Kelomökki Kuksa, a nature-loving wilderness cottage on the shores of the Tapojoki River. Running water, indoor toilet, electric heating, wood stove and Wi-Fi at your disposal. A short drive away from Ylläs ski slopes and other services. Fishing spots, berry picking areas and ski trails are all nearby. In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, and there are long planks from the cottage to the beach. 200m away is Äkäsjoki, and a 15-minute drive away is one of Europe's best salmon rivers, Torniojoki. Private cabin for independent travelers.

Vanha-Seppälä

Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the peaceful village of Kaukosen, close to nature in Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the destination is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

Chalet Mummola offers a peaceful and cozy stay in the heart of Lapland, far from the rush of everyday life. A private campfire shelter in the yard invites you to enjoy atmospheric evenings by the fire while admiring the starry sky, with a bit of luck you may also see the Northern Lights. The surrounding nature offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, and guests can rent snowshoes. We also organize experiences such as ice fishing trips, reindeer farm visits, and snowmobile safaris.

Tervetuloa viettämään aikaa Karhumökkiin, sopivaan majoitustilaan kahdelle hengelle. Mökki sijaitsee luonnon keskellä, Karhunkurun pihapiirissä. Piha on laaja, joten sinne mahtuu vaikka useampikin auto. Mökin sijainti tarjoaa hyvät puitteet ulkoiluun. Mökiltä on helppo kulkea luontoon. Mökin vierestä kulkee valaistu latu ja latureitti. Mökistä löytyy minikeittiö varusteineen ja pieni WC. Mökissä ei ole suihkua. Suihkussa voi käydä päärakennuksessa. Sauna lämpiää sovittaessa (erillishintaan).

Private log cabin in the middle of Finnish nature

Almost a hundred years old log cabin that's been renovated to fit some modern needs. The cabin consists of a large kitchen/living room area and two bedroom which both have beds for two people. Couch in the living room can also be turned into a double bed. There is an indoor dry toilet, also outside toilet. The cabin does have electricity and is equipped with e.g. tv and a microwave. There is both a gas stove and a wood-burning stove. I will bring 50 liters of water in prepared containers.

Viihtyisä pieni mobiili mökki, tai oikeastaan minikoti (tiny cabin on wheels) sijaitsee järven rannalla kukkuloiden keskellä noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä. Sopii sinulle, joka haluat tuntea olevasi osa luontoa ja tutustua paikalliseen elämään pienessä mökissä kaikkina vuodenaikoina. Huskysafareita talvella vain 5 minuutin päässä. Napapiiri halkaisee Meltosjärven lävitse.

Traditional Finnish semi-detached log cabin in the middle of nature. Enjoy magical winter or beautifull summer at this cozy and peacefull cabin. No light pollution so good for watching northern lights. Beautifull view to the Ylläs fjell which is only 10 min. drive away. 2 bedrooms, a loft, working space, living room, modern kitchen, separate toilet, bathroom and sauna. Free Wifi. The outdoor hot tub can be rented from April-October with self-service 90€/use.

Lappee, on the shores of the Tornionjoki River

A paradise for a fisherman, a hiker, or just someone looking for a peaceful place! This place is located in Kolari, in the village of Lappea. Lappea is known as a fishermen's cove. Inside you will find a living room with a large stone fireplace, bunk bed and sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, and an open sleeping area with a double bed. There's also a sauna with a wood-burning stove. There is an open lean-to in the outdoor area.

The cabin sits in a tranquil spot by a river above the Arctic Circle, far from streetlights, where the sky is dark and open in every direction — perfect for watching the northern lights. You can wait for the auroras in the comfort of a warm cabin or the riverside sauna, and when they appear, admire them straight from the terrace. Other winter activities, like snowshoeing and husky rides, are also close by and easy to reach.

Little Red House

Small cozy house in Kolari, Lapland. No other apartments in the vicinity. There is no any street lights so you can see the Northern lights very well. 2 adults and 1 to 3 young children are easily accommodated in the house. The house has a living room-kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, toilet, washroom and sauna. The bedcovers and towels are included in the price. Final cleaning is required!
