Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sierra de Gata

Almiro is a great host and I would be pleased to be hosted again soon at his place in Folgosinho. Highly reccomended!

Casa muy bonita y confortable, para visitar en cualquier época del año, chimenea y sistema de calefacción en toda la casa. Estancias amplias, recomendable para estar con la familia y amigos, 4 habitaciones para 8 personas. la cocina muy equipada y con todo lo necesario, cubertería, platos, fuentes.. una despensa con un arcón a parte de la nevera en la cocina. No hemos podido disfrutar de la zona exterior por las fechas, pero con buen tiempo el porche, patio con barbacoa y pequeña piscina de debe estar muy bien. Muy recomendable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est superbe et l’extérieur avec piscine est top aussi! Hôte très réactif et très gentil. Localisation parfaite pour visiter les alentours.

La casa es magnifica, la ubicación perfecta, limpieza genial y el lugar es maravilloso. Mariano una persona muy atenta, encantadora y respondía rápido a los sms. Sin duda un verdadero placer.

We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao

Recomendamos imenso! Embora só tenhamos passado uma noite em trabalho, esperamos voltar para uma estadia mais longa. Casa muito acolhedora e confortável. O pequeno-almoço foi muito rico, para além do pão que nos foi dado a escolher havia uma seleção bem pensada de opções. Deixámos coisas pessoais por esquecimento e a anfitriã foi muitíssimo atenciosa em enviar por correio o mais rápido possível. De resto foi sempre super simpática e prestável. Muito obrigada!

El alojamiento es perfecto. Las fotos son excelentes, pero no hacen justicia a lo bonito y bien cuidado que esta todo. Las camas son comodísimas, la cocina está muy bien amueblada con todo lo que se puede necesitar. La zona de la bodega es ideal para reuniones familiares y con amigos. Lo hemos disfrutado mucho y nos encantará repetir estancia en el futuro.

Alojamiento tranquilo, bien situado en una zona estupenda para desconectar. El desayuno muy bueno, un punto importante a su favor, nos lo dejaban en la casa cada mañana, lo que hacía que pudiésemos disfrutar de nuestra privacidad. Aunque la zona de piscina es compartida, el ambiente se mantuvo tranquilo, pudiendo relajarnos tomando el sol, bañándonos o leyendo un libro, ya que el espacio estaba disponible sin aglomeraciones ni ruidos, con tumbonas, sillas de jardín...incluso toallas.. En el momento en que necesitamos algo, Ricardo estuvo ahí para ayudarnos. Sin duda un lugar al que volveríamos!

Beautiful apartment style lodging in the outskirts of charming Guijo De Santa Barbara. Paloma and her husband went out of there way to make us comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics and they brought bread for breakfast each day. Additionally, the use of reclaimed wood and repurposed family heirlooms and farming antiques add a very special touch to this place. A short walk will bring you into town, where you can catch the low trail to the trabuquete. Walking or driving up the hill through town will allow a view from above, a close-up look at the Plaza de Toros, and beyond that, you can hike to the refugio. I’m thrilled that Guijo has this wonderful new accommodation!

Hemos pasado un estupendo fin de semana en el apartamento de Esther en pleno valle del Jerte. Ella es una gran anfitriona y hemos estado muy cómodos en su piso.

Muito simpáticos e hospitaleiros. Correu tudo muito bem

Piso con todas las comodidades en una zona espectacular. Lo mejor las vistas del salón. Todo perfecto, muy limpio y checkin muy fácil. Para volver seguro.

The house was clean, comfortable and updated. It is close to good hiking areas with in the national park as well as really close to Plasencia. The village is smaller and more quiet, which is nice. Around the house are all the amenities you could need: small grocery store, gas station, meat and cheese store, etc... The house has AC in the bedrooms and living room, but the cool evening breezes also quickly cooled down the house at night with the windows open. It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The internet was so slow it was not usable for us, but we could get good connectivity by cell phone. Overall we would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the national park particularly.

Lugar da Pedra Altra is a very special place, the host were very helpful and we had a very memorable holiday. We stayed there as a group of eight, two families and we had enough space, and the breakfast that they supplied was very enjoyable. We would look to visit again in the future

A small but very cozy and clean room with a bathroom in the main street of a charming mountain town with loads of places for great walks in nature. It was very easy to find and to park the car just right next to it. The breakfast in morning was a really nice addition and our doggie was welcome everywhere, even at the restaurant, which we really appreciate!
