Cottage vacation rentals in Sierra Nevada

The home really felt like a home, and the icing on the cake was the hot tub soak each morning and night. The waterfall hike a mile from their home is incredible, so if you don't feel like another long day in Yosemite, enjoy the local waterfall which was incredible. I forgot its name, but Google waterfalls near me and it comes up. It's a close-ish drive to the Yosemite park entrance, but then you still have a bit of a drive once in the park. We didn't mind, but make sure to get to the entrance earlier than 10 to avoid a long line of traffic. Michelle and Rohin were very communicative and it was a home from home experience.

Lovely artist’s cottage! The owner’s art and collections are on display, I kept seeing something new every day. Very comfortable and easy to walk to the beach or into town. Had a relaxing and comfortable stay. Slept really well!!

This was a perfect spot for a personal retreat. I loved everything from the decor to the comfy bed to the private hot tub and well tended garden. I would love to come back again.

We had the most amazing stay at Joanie’s cottage — truly an experience like no other! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty & charm of the place. Waking up each morning & stepping outside to a flowing creek with a coffee in hand was nothing short of magical. We even got to experience some rainfall & a bit of snowfall during our stay, which made everything feel even more special. My kids absolutely loved the hot tub, & we all had a blast playing cornhole. Since it was raining, we brought the game indoors & there was plenty of space to enjoy it without any worry. We also took peaceful little walks around the area — it’s such a beautiful, serene location. The cottage was well-stocked, & we had everything we needed. We visited the local store nearby — the owners there were so friendly and welcoming, just like everyone else in this lovely little town. I would absolutely recommend Joanie’s place to anyone looking for a unique & memorable getaway. ❤️

Ellen's place is a very nice quiet place to stay and enjoy a cozy day/night. The views outside are great and there are a lot of places to just relax on a cold day. the only inconvenience is the area around the property. To get there can be tricky, especially at night, and when it's rainy. And parking, especially with a large car is very hard especially if you have to reverse your way out, or reverse in, especially with the steep driveway. Other than that the property was perfect, and everything felt right, Ellen is a very nice host.

We had a great stay. It's nice, clean and comfortable. Especially the King master bed. Adrielle was responsive and communicated well. It's also only 3 blocks from the main strip in downtown. No surprises or misunderstood expectations here, this charming home presented just as it did in the pictures. Would surely recommend Adrielle and this home.

This sweet cottage was more magical than we even expected! We were surprised by all of the thoughtful touches, the decor, excellent cooking utensils, coffee, snacks, and so much more. It felt like we were staying in a secret tree house and the patio created the most calming space for outdoor meals and relaxing. The location was quiet, very convenient and just the right size for two. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this space again!

Collin's place was so lovely and peaceful! We had a great time and really enjoyed having the creek right outside the bedroom. Collin was kind enough to give us some recommendations for places to eat that we really enjoyed!

The house itself was spotless when we arrived and had a warm, welcoming feel. It was very family-friendly, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax with kids and our dog. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a laid-back beach getaway, and we’d absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend for families or anyone traveling with pets!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

This cute home is a true gem. Walking distance to downtown (about 1.5 miles) or a quick drive. Very quiet and peaceful and the back patio is awesome to have your morning cuppa or end of day glass of wine. We were greeted by John's brother, Michael, who was very helpful in showing us the ropes and, since he lives right next door, was available if we needed anything (which we didn't!). Kitchen is well stocked, Keurig coffee machine and a regular pot as well, washer and dryer if you need it, and two separate bedrooms. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures and very comfortable. I go up to Chico every so often to visit friends so it's nice to know I have a good place to stay!

The perfect stay! We only had time for a 2 night stay, I wish we had longer! The surroundings were incredible, sitting outside on the decking with a glass of wine watching the sun go down behind the vineyards with the only sounds being birds and the occasional bark of the pet dogs in the distance, heaven! Bring your supplies with you, there’s a great kitchen and oven so you can cook, we stayed in with a pizza one night, and drove into Mariposa to the fabulous Charles Street Dinner house for the other night. There are no cabs or takeaway services here so bring what you need and enjoy!

We had such a wonderful time at Cinnamon Creek Cottage! The surrounding area was so beautiful and green in the winter. Super close to Sequoia National Park where we had a blast. The home was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful yard and mountain view. It was a perfect spot for a long weekend get-away!

We can’t ask for more for a peaceful and perfect getaway place like this. We really enjoy our stay there and would definitely recommend this lovely place!

Perfect place for a couple to experience the beauty and serenity of nature! My partner and I stayed three nights during our visit to Yosemite and we couldn't have asked for a better quaint cottage. Not only was the location ideal for exploring nearby trails but it was also unique, quirky and a very cozy atmosphere. We would definitely consider another visit here!

Laura’s cottage was everything we wanted for a girls trip to wine country. It felt like home and was clean. She had a lot of amenities we weren’t expecting like robes and slippers. The views are amazing. Can’t recommend enough.
