Great house, perfect for families

Very pleasant stay, super quiet chalet in nature, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Little network, but it gave us a good opportunity to disconnect. The interior is cozy, simple and a little rustic but warm, it feels very good (we particularly appreciated the stove, which was a bit the star of our stay). With the snow, impossible to climb up to the cottage by car, but Daniel came to help us transport our belongings on the remaining 200m with his 4x4, so no worries about access to the cottage.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

The chalet is exactly as advertised! Our group went for a ski trip, so we were looking for a location close to the slopes. This was perfect and a quick trip into the main town of Crans-Montana. It was incredibly clean, and a perfect layout for us. The views from the hottub cannot be beat, and the sauna is an excellent finish to a ski day. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

It was a very special vacation. The chalet was unique for its location with great views and great, modern amenities. You immediately felt at home. Everything was exactly as in the pictures. We will be happy to come back. You should be trained to drive in the mountains and in the snow to reach the property. Thanks for Everything.

Direct access by elevator to the wonderfully sun-drenched attic apartment, which leaves nothing to be desired. From the breathtaking panorama of the majestic mountains to the top-equipped cuisine – everything is perfectly thought out here. The apartment is very clean and family-friendly. Thanks to the location on the top floor, maximum privacy is guaranteed. Hosts respond quickly to requests and are characterized by their extraordinary kindness and helpfulness. An all-round perfect holiday experience!

Beautiful accommodation ideal for 2 people, top amenities. Well located, less than 5 minutes walk to the slopes. Bus in front of the subdivision if necessary to reach the village.

It was a heavenly weekend with one of the most spectacular views! Spent most of the time on the balcony enjoying the sounds of nature and fireworks from the 1st of August celebrations :)

Another wonderful stay in Janine's beautiful chalet. We loved our time here and found the apartment to be ideal - cosy and with everything we needed. The amenities and decor are tastefully designed, it is very comfortable and neat in the details: large shower, beautiful towels in number, shower gel that smells good, fluffy and cozy duvet, tea and coffee capsules upon your arrival... Nick is a generous host and available on the first call if needed. We are close to Gstaad with easy and quick access by road, a beautiful parking area next to the cottages... We keep the address!

The hosts are friendly, proactive and quick to answer. The chalet is just as presented, with a very pleasant terrace, a nice view on the mountains opposite and many walking possibilities close by. A very enjoyable stay!

Christophes Maiensäss is located at 1900 M - high above Evolène - and offers fantastic views of Dent Blanche and Cervin (Matterhorn), especially from the sun terrace. Here you can also spend nice evening hours at the fire bowl. The Maiensäss can be reached via a somewhat adventurous but mobile pull path from Evolène. Christophe greeted us very nicely in Evolène and accompanied us at the first driveway. He can be reached at any time. The Maiensäss is very clean and cozy and decorated with a lot of love. The building technology - solar power, gas for cooking and hot water for showering - works perfectly. Short and long mountain hikes can be taken directly from Mayen, e.g. Lac d’Arbey (with good Buvette) or Pic Artsinol (3000 m). In Evolène there is a well-stocked coop with free Wi-Fi - not completely unimportant for German tourists with EU data roaming;). We really enjoyed our holiday week and would be happy to come back.
