Vacation home accommodations in Sierre District

We spent Christmas as a family (7 people) in this wonderful chalet in Zweisimmen and could not be more satisfied. The place was just as described – cozy, clean and perfectly equipped. The view of the snowy mountains was stunning, and the location was ideal for our winter activities. Our hosts were extremely kind and helpful. They provided us with all the necessary information and were always available if we had any questions. The communication was quick and easy. We felt like at home and would recommend this place at any time. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Very pleasant stay. Rooms for kids were well equipped, with stuffed animals and toys. The kids had a great time. Access is sporty but it is facilitated by the equipment lent by the host.

Juanita is an amazing host. We felt right at home. Fresh bread ordered in a morning to sessions in the infrared sauna in an evening. Also included in our stay-a free local bus pass and cable car pass. The areas is beautiful and a trip to Saas-fee is also recommended. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the stay too. Thank you Juanita for a most enjoyable vacation.

The location is great, with a bus stop (free bus) just outside the building. Take the bus to the lake at the end of the valley, to the mountain village of Saas-Fee or Stalden. Hike the Kapellenweg from the house or walk to the great Waldhüs Bodmen restaurant, situated in the forest above the house. Views on the mountains. The appartment is large, clean, and super quiet. The bedroom curtains made it nice and dark. Communication with Juanita was a pleasure, she gave us tips for the area, and is very welcoming and friendly. The Saastal is beautiful, also in fall!

Francine is a thoughtful and communicative host. She welcomed us upon our arrival, provided detailed instructions, and gave helpful recommendations for the local area. The apartment was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The roads and parking behind the apartment were narrow and somewhat challenging to navigate. Thank you, Francine!

We had a great stay, the place is super convenient, right at a bus stop and within 10 minutes in Saas-Fee. We were able to order rolls and eggs from our own chickens. The studio has everything it takes for a few days, including a spacious balcony. Everything went smoothly and the hosts are very friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Modern stylish apartment with a fantastic view across Zermatt to the Matterhorn. It is wonderfully located close to ski lifts, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful winter holiday in Tammy's place. We felt right at home when we entered and the apartment offered us everything we needed. The kitchen is modern an equipped with all you need. There is a Raclette and Fondue set so you can prepare your own Swiss meal at home ;-) The view from the balcony is marvelous and the place is walking distance to ski lifts and other local amenities. There is an underground parking which is very handy. Luckily there was not much snow so we had no issues getting up the steep climb from the house with our car. If there is a lot of snow it will requires chains, however Tammy did warn us in advance :-) My favorite spot was at one of the windows where there is a comfy chair to sit with a nice drink and look out in to the mountain scenery. We would love to come back next year.

A lovely family home very close to all Abelboden’s amenities. Midi’s place has everything you will need for a very comfortable stay, the kitchen is very well equipped and is part of a very spacious living area. All the beds were very comfortable and my three year old grandson was very happy in his bottom bunk bed. There are lots of good ski runs, and two distinct ski areas, a smaller one can be accessed at the bottom of the road from Midi’s place and the larger area a short walk through the village. We would certainly considering returning and staying again.

Great place to stay; loved the decor, spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable with amazing views over Lake Thun. Private but easily accessible and close to Spiez, Interlaken, Grindelwald and all the other places in the area. We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommend it.

Our stay in Switzerland was made perfect by the beautiful house, which had great parking. Very clean interior. Well appointed kitchen. Immaculate bathroom and shower and most importantly the most comfortable beds. There is a huge number of things to do locally from the town of Oey to the walks in the valley just a minutes drive or five minute walk from the house. The local walks are ideal and can range from one hour to almost a full afternoon. Our favourite memory of the stay is sitting outside appreciating the complete darkness giving way to the stars. It is unbelievably peaceful.

We had a great stay here, the views are amazing! The host was very helpful, as was the lady next door. Everything you might need was here.

It was a super nice, clean and lovingly furnished cottage with lots of charm and feel-good things! Even in front of the house, the landlady had made beautiful decorations close to nature. We also received a detail in every room in the house that welcomed us! The hosts were very friendly, we would love to spend holidays in your Bijou again! Thank you warmly for everything!

Is a very nice and well kept place and all the amenities were good. Note that if you're planning to come back after having dinner in Zermatt you will have to eat very early or get a taxi. The way back is about an hour hike and there is a lot of climbing. However, in my opinion the restaurants in town are not worth it anyways, it is better to buy ingredients or a meal at a grocery store and bring it back.

Great place in the heart of Zermatt. It’s close to the cash only Crepe place that always has a line. Bring Swiss Francs to pay the tourist tax though. Well stocked kitchen.

About Sandy: She is very helpful, kind and very responsive. I told her we were hoping for snow and she said there was no snow for last 3 christmas. The day before we arrived she told me that she ordered us snow. I thought she was kidding. Happen to be there was a blizzard and the kids were very happy. About the place: OMG. It was perfect for family. Inside the bathroom there is a cabinet full of towels. In the kitchen, what you want? Just name it. Dining area with wonderful view. This is my honest review. Definitely will recommend to my friends. Thanks Sandy and Husband.

Thank you for looking after us. You even came to us when I had stupidly dropped the key in the snow. Wonderful place to stay and we were to well looked after. So grateful.

My wife, daughter and I returned to Chalet Hubel again this year and look forward to doing so again next year. For us three keen skiers Iris's apartment offers great Swiss authentic and roomy accommodation in a sunny location overlooking the upscale skiing village of Gstaad.

We really enjoyed Thomas‘ and Vanessa‘s place. We had marvellous holidays and are looking forward for another stay in the area. Luc

Since it was winter and there was a lot of snow, it took about 30 minutes to haul the luggage from the station to the house, but the natural scenery was amazing! And Walter and his wife were so kind and helped us a lot, so we had a comfortable stay!! Thank you:)

The house is super clean and well equipped! Plenty of space and it has everything you need including capsule coffee, cooking oil and many seasoning powder! Totally recommend!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Michael’s. Michael was super responsive and so kind with helping us organise a free bus pass to use. The accommodation is beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. We walked down to the lake and swam. It was a 10-15 min bus ride into Interlaken and sooo easy to get to and from, we loved the buses! Michael and his partner were so kind on check in and gave us great recommendations. The bed was really comfortable and loved there being 2 duvets! The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was so cosy in the evenings. Great place to stay, highly recommend!!! Thank you ☺️
