Other times we take long walks, chat with those clamming or crabbing right off of the shore. Our favorite place for cocktails and live entertainment is just a 3 minute walk around the corner, The Snug Harbor. Great little getaway spot far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The noise of the nearest highway is over a mile away. Experience the relaxing sounds of the surrounding forest while you enjoy all the comforts of home inside or, if you're of the fit and adventurous variety, make your way through the trees to the babbling brook you can fall asleep listening to at night. Everything you can possibly need is less than a half hour's drive away from this place of peace and quiet.

Stunning Ocean View, No Cleaning Fee, Cozy Oceanfront Cottage Apt, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Private Balcony, chairs and (Electric BBQ summer only). Main room has a King Bed with Kitchenette ,Electric Fireplace, Sofa , Peacock TV and dining table. There is a Bathroom with Shower, Bedroom has a Queen Bed and minifridge/freezer. Kitchenette has salt,pepper,oil, utensils,dishes,cookware,mini oven,Instapot,toaster microwave, Minifridge, two burner stove, drip coffee maker.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

This delightful, cozy cabin with HOT TUB is the perfect getaway for 2. With spectacular views of the Big Nestucca River and the top of Haystack Rock, staying here can feel like stepping into a painting. The proximity to the river (with private dock) offers an opportunity to experience the magic of a tidal river that is teeming with life. This picturesque cabin is a throwback to a bygone era and is our family's special spot.

The Dude's Abode A-Frame Private Ocean Access

The Dude's Abode is a small, 1969 A-Frame in the small oceanfront community of the Alpine Chalets. We are set in a forested, high-bank oceanfront 7-Acre setting at Otter Rock, along with 10 other privately owned chalets. The community shares a private path with access to the best surfing beach in the area! Restored to a 1969 vibe, fans of vintage A-Frame villages, surfers, and free spirits will love this spot.
