Traditional log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

Relax and enjoy the peace of nature! A two-storey log cabin located on the shore of a lake. The cottage has a well-equipped living room/kitchen and a utility kitchen. Dishwasher, washing machine and drying cabinet. There is a double bed in the downstairs bedroom, and beds for four in the upstairs rooms. There is a toilet inside. There is a wood-fired sauna, a shower room and a toilet next to the cottage. Hot water. In the yard, a gas grill, an electric smoker, and a masonry pan. On the beach, there is a dock, a rowboat and a canoe. A SUP board and an electric motor for the boat are also available for rent separately.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Although our small, modern, and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential property, here you will find peace, nature, privacy, and wonderful views. The body of water offers excellent fishing opportunities. In addition, the location is ideal for remote work! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Motorboat available for rent for fishing. Bring your own linens and towels.

You will always remember the rugged landscape of this destination. The property is located near Kolovesi National Park on the shores of Saimaa Pyyvesi. The property has stunning views, but it is only about 300 meters from the paved country road. There are neighbors on the property. The mini-house was completed in 2025 and the sauna in the adjacent building dates back to 2024. The accommodation is ideal for those interested in hiking, cycling, fishing and paddling.

Boat house is excellent for remote work too as it is equipped so that all you need to bring along is your laptop. We are located on a northern Ukonniemi vineyard. You can explore nature and lake Pyhäjärvi during your stay!

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Renovated historic cottage

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.
