Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Sintra

What a beautiful apartment, it felt like home. We loved being able to walk out our door for shopping and restaurants. Uber worked extremely well for seeing the amazing sites Sintra has to offer. Our only recommendation for other guests is to bring ear plugs - which we had with us - as the trains can be a little noisy if you are an early to bed person😃

Robert and Fabian’s house is much more spacious than what Airbnb photos had showed us. The location is great. It’s close to Sintra and Azenhas do Mar, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the country. Fabian is kind and considerate. He has old-school hospitality, gave us great travel tips, and even made coffee for us before our early morning flight. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at Sercan and Anna’s lovely home! Stayed there for just one night while in transit to the Azores. Both Anna and Sercan were proactive and highly responsive. They allowed me and my daughter an early check-in that we so very much needed after a 12 hour long flight. Though they offer just a room in their apartment, it feels like you have access to the whole apartment pretty much. My daughter enjoyed picking treats from their well stocked pantry. The bathroom and kitchen were also clean and well stocked. The apartment is not too close to public transport, although very easy to get to any place in lisbon via Bolt or Uber. And being on the 4th floor without elevator makes it a bit challenging to get there with luggage. But whatever the apartment lacks by design, which is very little, is more than made up by the very generous, warm and responsive hosts of this lovely apartment.

Maria è un host formidabile. Molto gentile ed attenta alle tue esigenze. Abbiamo potuto fare il check in anticipato. Il posto e’ molto tranquillo e vicino a tutte le attrazioni di Sintra. Abbiamo parcheggiato la macchina e ci siamo spostate o a piedi o con i mezzi locali. Tutto è’ andato molto bene. Da consigliare!

Jest to mieszkanie na parterze w bloku mieszkalnym. Bardzo łatwo jest tam wejść z ulicy. Mieszkanie ma dwie wygodne sypialnie, wygodną łazienkę, dobrze wyposażoną kuchnię i salon ze stolem i kredensem w starym sintrzanskim stylu. Cale wyposażenie mieszkania jest dość leciwe, co dodaję mu uroku, ale jeśli ktoś nie lubi staroci, to pewnie mu się tu nie spodoba. Mi się mieszkało super wygodnie i świetnie się wysypiałam, co było moją główną potrzebą. W dzień słychać ruch samochodów, ale w nocy gdy zamknie się okna i zaciągnie zewnętrzne story, to warunki do spania są super :) Sam gospodarz jest bardzo miły i wszystko świetnie tlumaczy. Polecam i jeśli kiedyś będę znów w okolicy to z chęcią ponownie skorzystam z tego miłego, choć zupełnie zwykłego mieszkanka.

Having a supermarket right across the street is a great plus, apart from that it is also a nice area. The metro and train are close by, in fact, for example we didn't even use them, we went to Belem Castle by bus.

This is like a magical secret garden and so charming! We loved the grounds and gardens and the fact that we were right by the Regaliera, you could see it from the bathroom window! It was such a beautiful stay and you could see the Moorish castle up on the hill every night and the beautiful hotel across the street was stunning as well. I loved every minute staying at Ana's beautiful property and in Sintra. There is so much to see. The only thing I would mention is that it is hard to drive around Sintra and from this property since it is a one way street and you have to drive at least 20 min to get back into town. Definitely would recommend walking everywhere and not driving as it takes so much longer and the streets are hard to navigate.

Magda and Dario are wonderful people and very good hosts! Everything was clean and everything what you need was in the house. We were 5 people and used 3 bedrooms. If we had questions it was easy to contact Dario and he was extremely helpful. a supermarket is 10 within walking distance and the beach approx. 45 Minutes. It is a bike available this is perfect.

Los dueños de la casa son unas personas encantadoras, nor recibieron con una botella de vino y unos pasteles típicos de Lisboa, luego nos dieron unos pasteles de bacalao que hicieron ellos riquísimos, en todo momento estaban atentos por si necesitábamos algo. La casa muy acogedora y limpia, la zona muy tranquila, cerca de las salidas para Lisboa, Sintra, Cascais etc.... Recomendable 100%.

Hemos disfrutado de una estancia perfecta, una ubicación muy tranquila y cercana a muchos lugares de interés. Célia se ha preocupado de darnos muchas recomendaciones y que han sido de gran utilidad

A beautiful Portuguese country home, convenient to Sintra, coast and beaches. It feels like a home rather than a sterile box. Gorgeous views, garden and pool. As an older home, has some quirks and character. Lots of small steps and levels. Very well appointed kitchen. When we were there, a tropical depression came through and knocked a tree down across the driveway. The host was very responsive and took care of this in a timely manner. They were flexible when our check-in time changed due to some of the crazy weather.

Joaquim and Rui were very helpful. The villa is perfect for children. Lots to do in the games room and fun to be had by the pool. Rui was always very responsive and great local tips of places to eat and things to see. We didn’t have a car so used Uber a lot to get around which was also very easy. Ericeira and Mafra are both close and lovely to explore. Would highly recommend.

Maria und ihr Mann sind freundlich und nett, flexibel und kümmern sich rührend. Leider riecht die Unterkunft feucht, das ist aber typisch für die Region, da es grundsätzlich keine Zentralheizungen gibt. Man kann aber einen bereitgestellten Heizofen benutzen. Ansonsten alles perfekt. Vielen Dank für ihre Freundlichkeit und wunderschöne Unterkunft.

O espaço é muito giro, sendo que a casa é enorme dando perfeitamente para o número de pessoas indicado no anúncio. A piscina é maravilhosa, tal como quase todos os espaços exteriores, excepto o campo de futebol que precisa de remodelações. O Manuel é super simpático e acessível, tendo sendo respostas rápidas da sua parte. Recomendo a casa.

Beliggenheten var nydelig, litt bort fra sentrum, men var ikke mer enn 15 min gange til hovedgaten. Utrolig fin utsikt med badebasseng. Verdt å nevne i anonsen at man må benytte seg av badehette hvis man skal bruke bassenget inne da det var umulig å finne i butikkene

Enjoyed our stay. We like to walk and found everything we had hoped for within a mile. Amazing food and the twice weekly market was great.

Cinque giorni indimenticabili in Portogallo ad aprile! L’appartamento di paulo era stupendo: curato nei minimi dettagli, pulitissimo e in una posizione perfetta. Paolo è stato un ospite gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e accogliente. L’atmosfera del posto, unita alla bellezza della casa, ha reso il soggiorno davvero speciale. Super consigliato!

Nous avons passé une semaine à l’appartement de Cheng et tout fut vraiment super. Très propre, calme et bien situé pour visiter Lisbonne. Lors de la panne d’électricité au Portugal, Cheng est venu nous porter des bougies et des biscuits. Très belle attention qui nous a fait nous sentir en sécurité. Excellent location, surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, shops and easy access to public transportation! The apartment was spacious, had everything you need for your stay. Windows are to the inside yard so it was peaceful and quiet! Could not have asked for more!

Stare a casa di Heinz è stato come "essere a casa". In più di due mesi di soggiorno, ho apprezzato la comodità di una casa grande, confortevole e con giardino privato!! Corroios è una cittadina tranquilla ma offre tutti i servizi. Può sembrare lontana dal centro ma, fidatevi, è tra le più collegate del Margem Sul! Avrete l'imbarazzo della scelta per quale mezzo utilizzare! Il Fertagus, a 10 minuti a piedi (2 minuti in tram) vi porta a Lisbona passando per il Ponte 25 de Abril. Il mio modo preferito, è stato il tram (direttamente sotto casa, a tutti gli orari, ogni 7-9 minuti - stazione Casa do Povo). Arrivati a Cacilhas (che ho amato per i suggestivi tramonti a ponto Final) traghetto per Cais do Sodré, e in meno di 10 minuti sarete nel cuore di Lisbona! Scoprire i dintorni di Corroios (Almada, Costa da Caparica, Setubàl) mi ha permesso di vivere anche la parte meno turistica del Portogallo, quella che mi ha fatto innamorare di questo paese! Andate a casa di Heinz, non ve ne pentirete!

This charming apartment in the Alfama neighborhood of Lisbon was conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores and just absorbing the atmosphere of old Lisbon. The very large patio area was a welcoming space for cocktails, and dinner. And Eugenia! A sprite of a woman who is filled with contagious enthusiasm for her city. Wilfried’s recommendations were spot on and the extras provided such as granola, orange juice, coffee, tea or the icing on the cake. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautifully furnished flat and very clean! Key transfer was well organised. Lots of parking nearby! And nearby are several supermarkets. Public transport to the centre of Lisbon is good to do. On my next visit to Lisbon I will definitely book this flat again.
