Olav the Sacred stayed 6 days on Listed in 1021 to prepare meeting with Dale-Gudbrand under the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, midway between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdals Cathedral). The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.
