Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house. 
If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Welcome to our house at peaceful Sjursnes in Tromsø, in the middle between Tromsø city center and Lyngen. Here it is quiet and peaceful overlooking the Lyngen Alps. Optimal conditions for viewing the Northern Lights. Dog sledding and sledding on Breikvikeidet only 10 km away, ice fishing, mountain hiking in the village and in Lyngen. The house has two living rooms, dining table with space for 10, 5 bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, and a private sauna house with amazing views. Welcome to Ramfjorden, which offers beautiful nature and high mountains. Enjoy your time here in the detached house that has everything you need for your stay. The area is a great location for watching the Northern Lights and Arctic animals. Here, you can fish in the fjord, which is covered in ice 6 months a year, go hiking in the nearby mountains, or drive into Tromsø, which takes about 30 minutes. I have free loan of a baby bed, snowshoes, sledges, kick sleds, sports, fishing and ice fishing equipment. I can also rent out snowboards, skates and a boat on request :-)

"Huset på Bakken" is located on the narrow strip of land between the sea and the mountains in Ullsfjorden. Here you can enjoy quiet days with the family or challenge yourself on short or long trips. From the house there is a nice view of the fjord and the mountains in all directions. There are several places with easy access to the Lyngsalpan landscape conservation area, with Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) at 1834 m.a.s.l. as the highest peak. There are nice conditions to see the Northern Lights in winter because there are no street lights that disturb.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
