Small wood stove in the living room and access to wood. Beautifully located with marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Nice area for both mushroom and berry picking, swimming and fishing. 30 min. from Oslo Airport by car. Well-equipped apartment in a quiet, family-friendly area. 15 min. walking distance to the train. (Train takes 38 minutes to Oslo S.) Approximately 45 min by car to Oslo. 15 min. walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacy, pizza/Indian/grill and hairdresser. The area has nice hiking opportunities and is close to the outdoor swimming pool "Bader'n" (open June 19 - August 16). Great log cabin with beautiful views (500 meters above sea level) only one hour from Oslo. The cabin is well equipped with a fireplace and wood stove in the living room. Kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin has a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. One bedroom on loft (note! steep staircase) and one on 1 floor. Both bedrooms have a double bed. Several good hiking opportunities, driven ski slopes right at the cabin. Close to hiking trails in forests and fields, swimming opportunities. Great place for all the four seasons. Two bicycles to borrow.

There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
