Cozy old house - Grandmas – Oldstyre house. Kraknes on Kvaløya. 16 km from Tromsø city center. Here you can enjoy great nature in summer and winter. View of magical mountains and sailing into Tromsø city. You can see some of the mountains in Lyngen Alps from the house. Here you can enjoy silence, relaxation, midnight sun in summer and northern lights and Arctic great skies in winter. 10 minutes drive from the airport and 20 minutes by car from the house to Tromsø City center. We recommend the use of a rental car.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Camp Øvrevoll cabin1

Quiet quiet little intimate cottage in best northern lights country surrounded by Northern Norwegian nature. Perfect for sitting out on the terrace, barbecuing and enjoying the northern lights or experiencing the northern Norwegian winter. We are located on a camp that has a service building with shower, toilet, kitchen, (sauna NOK 150 per hour). Electrically heated cabin. We have bus, route 450. Good on weekdays, but not on weekends. It is 25 km to Tromsø, so we recommend a rental car.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
