Place was great, clean, easy to find, easy spot to park, easy to get in and out of. Only thing that took us a second was finding the wifi password. Adding that to the welcome message or even having a sheet of paper with it on it in the room would have helped. You can BARELY hear the train in the background, it didn't bother us one bit at all, it wouldn't wake up a baby or a dog. Glad we picked this location to stay at!

This cottage was impeccably kept! The beds and linens were amazing. The kitchen and pantry didn’t miss a beat. We thoroughly enjoyed the views (including eagles!) cozy gatherings around the piano, outside fireside laughter, a neighborhood camp store and restaurant… It was the perfect getaway and Carl and Sally were the perfect hosts! They thought of everything to make our stay amazing.

Wow! The photos were gorgeous but when you step inside, this place is spectacular. It was hard to decide where to relax…..in front of the huge statement fireplace in the coziest of chairs……in the loft with games and tv……around the fire pit outside with cool lighting and blooming plants all around…..or maybe if you love to mess around in a kitchen, you opt for the amazing cooking space equipped with everything you could want. We managed to enjoy it all. You will too! We used this fabulous home as a base camp for exploring Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. Next time we will bring bikes and take advantage of the great bike trail system located a stone’s throw from the front door. Finally, thanks to Chris and Ben for welcoming dogs with a self-filling water bowl! We loved it here.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The host was extremely responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions that made check-in a breeze. We were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful welcome gift of fresh organic eggs – such a lovely touch! The cabin itself is beautifully set up, cozy, and perfectly suited for a relaxing retreat, especially coupled with pnw rain. It felt like a peaceful escape tucked away in nature. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!
