Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Smith Mountain Lake

We are back again! Enjoyed our second stay visiting family in the area. We plan to return when it is time for another gathering.

I really enjoyed my stay. I felt very at home. James had milk and butter there for me when I came. So I had the basics. It was clean. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was nicer than I expected and the price was great. James was very responsive when i contacted him. I would stay with James again. The neighborhood is unique. I love the green goat and RND.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

This place was very nice and clean! Had plenty of room for everyone staying and was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. It is very conveniently located to anything you would ever need and a very short drive to downtown Roanoke. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in the Roanoke area!

Bob’s place could not have been more perfect for our trip. It was even better than the pictures and really made our stay in Roanoke so comfortable and fun. You can easily walk to the main downtown area and there’s access to basically anything you need without even having to get into a car. Bob is an excellent and gracious host, he helped us tremendously when we arrived very late and exhausted from travel. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Had a great time here…it’s one of the nicer ones I’ve been to…felt like we were in a post card picture it was so beautiful with the river running through. The host was great too. Would definitely recommend this place.

We were blessed to enjoy Betsey's home with part of our family over the Easter weekend for some much needed R&R. The home is exactly as described and the views are incredible! The peaceful cove is perfect for enjoying the sun, relaxing with a good book, kayaking, fishing, etc. The home is large enough for the older kids (we had teens with us) to spread out and have some space of their own and mom & dad to enjoy space as well! The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals and everyone enjoyed hanging out at the bar while meals were being prepared catching up and talking. We did have an incident with the AC not working properly (We didn't need it until the afternoon so we had no idea until late afternoon it wasn't functioning well) and Betsey had someone there the following morning, even on a holiday weekend to take care of this. Betsey was kind, responsive, and excellent to work with! We will definitely be back and I can't wait to enjoy this peace of paradise again!

Great host. Very responsive. The place was extremely well maintained and very clean. Everything worked exactly as it should from the keyless entry to Internet access. The property is located .5 miles down a gravel road, which is rustic and dusty. The area is rustic as well. The price was a little high for a manufactured home but it was a holiday weekend.

Stayed at this beautiful home as a halfway point. We were blown away with how cute and comfortable this home was. The attention to detail not only made us feel at home, but our kids as well. The artwork and furniture also made this place extra unique! Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying here- and everything was great! We love the quiet setting, the private large yard with the stream down the hill. This home is perfect for a family or two couples as each bedroom on opposite ends of the house has a private bathroom. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, I love to cook and it has everything I need. We love that the location is close to both Smith Mountain Lake and the Peaks of Otter area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. So many options for a nature lover.

The house was great for our Christmas Holiday. There was enough space to allow us to spread out and yet still be connected. The bedrooms were well situated and allowed each of us to have a quiet night's sleep. Also had the right number of bathrooms for our group. I especially liked having the ability to sit around the indoor fireplace with a fire burning and a Christmas tree in the corner. The neighborhood was great for a stroll with the kids. All-in-all this was a great location for our family reunion and Beth was very responsive to all the questions we had before and during our trip.

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

This place was perfect-clean, super comfortable, and exactly as described! Great location, quiet but close to everything. The host was kind, responsive, and made everything easy. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!
