The owners of the property lived in the Cottage while building ‘The Castanian’ which was one of the grand manors in Cooma. The country estate sprawls over 27 acres. The perfect country weekender with views of the snow-capped Snowy Mountains. A 1km stroll to the Snowy River. We offer a relaxing alternative to nearby Jindy within 1hr to Kosciuszko NP. Hit the slopes, hike, wine&dine, bike, fish, or enjoy the fireplace. Dalgety is small but you are by no means in the middle of nowhere. The cottage & it’s garden surrounds are yours to enjoy but our home is also on the 8 acres. The cottage is completely private but you may hear occasional kids or dogs playing.

Guest cottage on a property just 3 min from Cooma which has great views of the mountains and of the town. There are 2 br, entrance area, living-dining area with wood fireplace, a small kitchen and bathroom. Main bedroom has QB, and 2nd, a QB + SB. Good stopover point on the way to the Mountains or a base for walking or biking on the property or in the district. Kitchen has microwave, fridge, electric frypan, toaster, sandwich maker, rice cooker, and there is a private deck area with BBQ.
