Our home is a calm, family-like room surrounded by walls designed in collaboration with Yumi Takeshi. It is a quiet residential area located about 15 minutes from Shirako Station, but there is a supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and a charcoal-grilled Shirako beef shop, a specialty of Shirako, just a 5-minute walk away. The living room has a large dining table and a handmade veranda, creating a space where guests can relax and gather. Nearby, surrounded by nature, is Lake Poroto, where you can enjoy skating and wakasagi fishing in the winter, and the scenery throughout the year. In addition, there are the ruins of the Sendai Domain Hirosegenshuku, which is open to the public as a nationally designated historic park. There is also a ski resort where even beginners can experience skiing, about an hour away by car. In our garden, 100 kinds of hosta grasses bloom in all seasons, and about 50 roses bloom. In the garden, there is a pizza oven where you can try making pizza, and a brick charcoal grill where you can try a barbecue.
