At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

Our place is all fenced in with entry gate lots of room for a big family, meals can be prepared in the restaurant’s kitchen with an extra charge close to San Marcos and Jaivalito. You’ll love my place because it’s chill tropical and it has a cool environment. It’s good for family adventures,families (with kids), pets are welcomed (previous notice with approval + pet fee)Nature is beautiful filled with wild life and great view!

The views to the lake and the volcanoes will captivate you! Perfect loft for friends or travelers alone. In the day, the sun illuminates every corner, it has an unprotected private balcony that allows you to contemplate the lake, mountains and volcanoes. Don't miss the sunrise and sunset! it is located near the main road, to access it and to get to our dock you have to go up and down you must go up and down. It's very small but well accommodated and cozy, ready to be part of your experience!
