In the area, there are several beaches, barbecue areas and nice forest trails. In winter, there are ski tracks on the lake and an ice vacuum for winter swimming . An idyllic spot only about 10 minutes drive from Umeå.

A cottage with the comfort of modern people of today but still with the atmosphere of back in the old days. This is tho cottage for you if you like to visit a traditional Swedish house, and like a place to relax. But here is also many possibilities for activities. Located in a traditional Swedish country-side setting 8 km from Umeå city centre is this modern non-smoking cabin. A fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom inc washing-machine, and parking next to the house. Wonderful nature trails and fantastic scenery with the Ume river valley a short walk from the house. This is the perfect spot for those who wants to combine nature and city life experience. Towels and sheets are provided. Two bicycles are available for our guests.

With the bus around the corner, you can quickly get to the city or the university.
