Nice place to spend a spring winter getaway! There was plenty of room, the apartment was very clean, and Markku responded quickly to messages. The apartment was also very well located at the end of a peaceful street and still within walking distance of the services. The playground was also right next door.

A spacious single-family home in a beautiful location on a hillside of danger on the edge of a farmhouse. A secluded location with a very peaceful place to stay. Very kind and responsive host. I'd love to stay in the same place again.

Our holiday in Lehtikerp was idyllic and we had a great time. It's like a hidden gem. The house, sauna building, and surrounding milieu were all unique, which brought a fabulous ambiance. Everything worked well, there was plenty of room for a larger group, and Kari was a great host. We can recommend Lehtikerppu to others in need of the Kainuu region as well. You won't go into this place with love!

A nice and spacious cottage that would be comfortable for a longer period of time with a larger group. Really close to the slopes and trails. Calm and tidy.

Cozy "grandma" is located in a quiet residential area on the border of the city and countryside. It was easy to find and entry went smoothly. The house found everything we needed, and communication with Helena was smooth throughout my stay.

Dogs welcome in this stay. That affects my choice of accommodation as I travel with my two dogs. Peaceful place, well suited for my plans due to location. I'll probably stay here again, because there will continue to be occasional work trips in Kajaani. It was nice to get to know the host's dogs, too, 🐶 Thanks!!

11/10. Exceeded my expectations and was a transformative trip. Photos can't capture the beauty or peace of this place. I stayed at Juha and Heidi's lakehouse on Oulujärvi for nearly a month across two visits. The setting is incredibly peaceful - perfect for meditation and reflection. It felt quite magical. If that's not your thing, there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied. For one, this place turned me into a sauna enthusiast. The cabin is perfectly equipped with everything you could need, including a wonderful fireplace. Right next to the main cabin is a traditional Finnish kota. Being there in winter, I tried ice fishing (caught only tiny fish due to my lack of skill) and was lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis - literally breathtaking. Juha is exceptionally kind and a perfect host. I can't praise him enough. Went above and beyond. As other reviews mention, there's more than the photos suggest. Don't hesitate to book. I hope to be back myself :)

We stayed with a little baby. The apartment was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, as well as baby friendly. A cross-country skier got to the ski slope effortlessly by walking a few hundred meters. All the key services were within walking distance for us.

We had the most wonderful week in this house in absolute silence and a beautiful area.

A great base for a couple of days of skiing. There were five adults and three children, and the space was great. Everything in the apartment exudes quality, and the details are thoughtfully thought out. The kitchen is very well-stocked, plenty of dishes and didn't have to be doing the dishes all the time. A separate sauna building is a nice addition to the space with stunning scenery. We would have loved to stay longer, great listing!

Marjuts cottage is a really nice, silent and total relaxing place. I was there with a friend to do some hiking tours and we enjoyed the saune, the lake and the barbecue. it was perfect 😀
