Ski season is open! About 20 km away is the Wagner and World Heritage city of Bayreuth. Muckenreuth is located on the edge of the Fichtel Mountains and Franconian Switzerland, as well as at the gateway to the Upper Palatinate and is ideal for hiking, biking, skiing and relaxing. Fully equipped apartment for 3 people (4 on request) near the Eremitage Palace Park, 2 rooms, small kitchen, bathroom (shower), private Entrance, hillside location, covered terrace, garden area. Coffee and tea are available. There is an “emergency ration” for breakfast in the fridge. Free parking at the house. The Stöckelkeller is the former tavern in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. The university is 10 minutes, the city centre 15 minutes and the festival hall 20 minutes away by car. You will be staying on 29 square meters (13 sqm of living & cooking; 11 sqm sleeping; 5 sqm bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment as we like to travel ourselves. The house is located directly next to the small Margrave Castle Schreez.

The approx. 70 sqm loft-style attic apartment (not barrier-free) has everything you need for a relaxing break in beautiful Franconia. Immediately adjacent is the landscape conservation area and FFH area of the upper Rotmaintal. Driving distance by car to Bayreuth: 14 km / 12 min The train station is 300 meters away. Direct connections to Bayreuth and Nuremberg.
