Lorn was an exceptional host. She met us with a smile on our arrival and was continually pleasant and highly accommodating throughout our stay. Lorna made us feel very much at home and made a special weekend even better. The Hive is set in beautiful surroundings and the space is really nicely set up with big sliding doors out on to a deck looking over a wooded area. Kevin and Stella were friendly and really helpful when we needed anything. The kitchen was stocked with really helpful essentials like coffee and had everything we needed.

This is the third time we have stayed with Barrie as it’s convenient for local craft courses that we attend. Every time it is spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Barrie is a great host and more than happy to help when we have needed help.

We returned here for a second time and the experience was as good as the first. Located in a quiet and leafy area it is easy to find, park and enter. Very clean and tidy. Within walking distance of the common and town centre.
