Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Een heerlijk boven! appartement midden in het centrum van De Rijp. Volendam, Amsterdam, Strand, Alkmaar en Zaanse schans allemaal binnen 20 a 30 minuten rijden. Dit uit 1652 daterende historische pand , is kort geleden volledig verbouwd waarbij de oude details bespaard zijn gebleven. De Rijp is een prachtig authentiek dorpje. Werelderfgoed de Beemster ligt naast de Rijp. Bus verbinding naar Amsterdam is goed. . Er zijn geen fietsen meer. (werden te weinig gebruikt). Geen lift aanwezig.
