Clean and had all the essentials. Situated up in the hills with lots of greenery around. Close ride into Kandy town. Responsive host, and appreciated the flexibility to check in a bit early. There is a lift for luggage (not for people) and the apartment is a walk up of a few flights of stairs which was fine for us, but wouldn’t be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility challenges. Apartment has ensuite bathrooms and AC. Overall good value, recommended. Thank you.

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Great stay! The location of this is perfect, between the 2 beaches. There’s lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The pool is even better than it looks and the outside area exceeded our expectations. We loved coming back to the villa after a day at the busy beaches and town! The staff that we met were also lovely and very helpful. Would recommend !

We had a really pleasant stay at Villa Candlelight. The property is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the indoor pool—it truly added an extra touch of luxury and made our experience even more enjoyable. The villa is also conveniently located, with easy access to the market area, making it simple to explore the surroundings. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Staying at Muditha's place was wonderful. The apartment is a little outside of the city center but can easily be reached by Tuktuk. There are a few local markets nearby, we found a grocery store and a local bakery with tasty snacks that can easily be reached by foot. It is surrounded by small temples and lots of greenery, which makes it a good location for peacefull strolls around the neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is no AC but there are fans in the bedrooms and since the location is a bit higher up, it's not too hot at night. The hosts were very honest and warm people. They gave us privacy but answered within minutes if we ever had a request. They even showed us their garden and let us say hello to the chickens 🥰 They helped us with our every need and even made sure we got on the local bus safely on the day of our departure. I would definitely recommend staying at this place if you are spending a few nights in Kandy!

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck! 

Nice place with great location close to the ocean! Kind and friendly hosts, sometimes treated us to a delicious breakfast, although it was not included.
