Cottage vacation rentals in St. Augustine

This was our 2nd stay at the Coconut Cottage and we loved every second of it. First stay was for our honeymoon and this time we got to bring our 1 year old son with us. The walk to the beach feels like nothing, close enough to walk back several times during your beach day (& bring your kiddo back for nap time easily). From a parents point of view the layout of the house worked great, pack n play available/used the high chair, easy enough to make sure he didn’t get into anything he wasn’t supposed to. Host was awesome with communication and even offered an early check in. We’ve loved both stays and we’ll definitely book again!

We can’t wait to come back! The golf cart was so helpful for trips to the beach. You could pretty much come with the clothes on your back and not want for much at all! Lynne has everything set up for you and is so, so kind and helpful. The golf cart, shed full of supplies, and hot tub are worth the money alone! Very clean place. This is your sign to stay!

It’s was our 25th anniversary and one of the best times we’ve ever had! Great pool,Hot tub and a block from the beach,we built a fire every night…perfect weather! Not sure it could’ve been any better!

My husband and I had a great time staying at Stephen’s place. He was so nice and considerate making sure we had everything we needed for our trip. His place is clean, cozy, and super cute! We arrived to a surprise Christmas tree and Christmas card, a nice touch for home away from home during the Holidays. The location is great with easy beach access, walkable restaurant locations, nearby grocery stores, and everyone we met was so nice. We will definitely check on the availability of this place again for our return trips to St. Augustine!

This place was perfect for what we needed! Very cozy inside and out. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies as many Airbnbs have minimal pots, pans, etc. We loved getting to use the jacuzzi after the kids went to bed and got to watch the lunar eclipse from the hammock out back. The place had a couple beach towels and chairs which was great since two of us flew in. The location was private and quiet but not far from beaches and restaurants. We appreciated the laid back, quiet vibe of Palm Coast and this house was the perfect place to enjoy it! Also, the coffee shop around the corner is really good! We walked there every morning for coffee and breakfast.

What a great house. The description was exact. The house is in a cul-de-sac sorry it was a quiet street. The beach was a 5 minute walk and a water front restaurant just a 2 minute walk. Holly answered all of our questions, including my son’s Xbox question we didn’t know he was asking. She was great with it all. The bikes and all the beach supplies worked out perfect for us. The home was spotless and the hot tub was a hit. Thanks again holly and we will be back again.

The family and I enjoyed our stay at The Poolside Cottage. There were plenty of amenities for the entire family to indulge in. Andrew and Melody made their home feel like “home away from home”. I definitely recommend 10/10.

We had a great stay. What stood out the most to us was how responsive, kind and helpful Regina was. Check in and check out were a breeze. The house was true to the photos. We appreciated how easy it was to drive to the beach and how nice it was to have two screened in outside areas. When the front & back doors were open we had a lovely cross breeze. There were ample essentials like towels, toilet paper and coffee, tea, toiletries etc! Some things to note: -While the beach might be technically walkable, it’s not feasible with small children as the neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks and you need to cross a very busy street to get to the beach. We knew this going in so it wasn’t an issue for us. -This isn’t a new construction. It’s an updated older home with older home quirks like no closets or any real place to hang clothes in most of the rooms. there was a bit of a musky smell. -Construction debris in the backyard was unfortunate. Still we would recommend and would stay again

We had a great stay, wish we could have stayed longer! the location is an easy walk to good food, museums, and shopping plug there's a trolley tour stop just around the corner. the house was perfect with all the right amenities, and the host was very helpful for any questions we had as well as proactive about letting us know anything that might pop up.

We loved our stay in Elizabeth’s cottage! The cottage is charming and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need.. Bedrooms are comfortable and supplied with lots of extra blankets and pillows. The cottage is perfectly located. It’s set back from the road. So, it is very quiet and is within a 10 minute walk to almost everything. Elizabeth is an amazing host! Very responsive and caring. This was a wonderful getaway for us!

Great & very clean place! Near all attractions we wanted to go to and all the amenities inside the house were wonderful. Nice and very attentive host!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was super clean and quite spacious. The location is perfect for walking to beach as well as local bars and places to eat. The beach theme of the home is so cute. We would love to come back again.

Not our first visit to this cottage. We love her place. Love the out back peaceful area.... cottage is very accommodating. We will always stay here if available.

This place is very clean, conveniently located to all the attractions (Lighthouse), and excellent food choices. It has a privacy fence, located in a secure area with outdoor chairs and a fire pit area to relax after a day of adventures. Arcade games as a bonus. Host was responsive to giving us all the information we needed. Fair price for a nice accommodations.

This was a really reasonably priced cottage within walking distance to town. The seems like a neat old house with an update kitchen and bath. It had everything we needed for a nice stay. Hot showers, ice, dishes, coffee if you want it, nice linens, and a comfortable bed. I liked the parking spot behind the house. You can’t lock the back door from the outside but it’s convenient to load or unload from the back and exit through the front. The street parking is a bit dark at night unless the front porch light of the big house is on, but there is a motion floodlight that comes on halfway down the sidewalk. Just drive around the block to the alleyway behind the house to find the rear parking. That was lit up nicely. It was quiet while we were there and we got some good sleep. Would definitely book again!

This place is perfectly located, the beach is just a minute walk from the beach, which was stunning, white sand beaches, crystal clear water, not a spec of seaweed or jellyfish. It was gorgeous!! Also not loaded with people making it nice and quiet.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at this charming cottage, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the tranquil ambiance and private forest atmosphere was amazing. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of cozy comfort and rustic charm. With its wooden beams, inviting decor, and view of the castle felt like stepping into a storybook. Very close to shopping, with a fully equipped kitchen to cook meals or near several restaurants which ever is preferred. Walking distance to the beach and about 15 minutes to historic downtown St Augustine. The host was very friendly and responsive with any questions, and helpful with directions. I would highly recommend this cottage for your next stay!!!

The home was very clean and beautiful. Jorge was responds quickly if there are any questions and sends detailed instructions for everything before your trip to ensure that check in and everything is smooth. I had a great time and will stay here again when I go back to St. Augustine.

The cottage was peaceful, cozy and charming. It felt like home immediately and all of the small details inside and out made us feel so welcome. Linda thought of numerous little touches to make you feel welcome and cared for while staying in the cottage! The kitchen had everything you could think of and was well organized and clean. The screened in porch was where we spent many evenings relaxing and enjoying a meal together. The outdoor shower was fabulous. Linda was an amazing host that communicated well with us!.This is a great spot to stay if you want to be close to see things in St. Augustine but also prefer to be in a more peaceful laid back setting. We enjoyed traveling to points south of here like Marineland beach, Varn beach and Flagler. Like another review had mentioned the hardest part was leaving! Thanks Linda for a wonderful stay in your charming cottage!

The Mermaid House was fabulous, perfect for a long weekend stay on St Augustine Beach. Deb's place has everything you could possibly need from toasters to televisions, hell she even has tortoises roaming around the neighborhood. The upper sun deck w/ views of the ocean above the garage is a bonus. Deb's green thumb is on display in the backyard and her artistic side shines through her stained glass pieces that are hung throughout the house. Deb couldnt have been any nicer & very prompt with replying to messages &/or returning calls. Overall the place was great, and we would totally recommend booking it, we wish we could've stayed longer. WSP

We stayed at Missy's for a week while home visiting family. As someone who grew up in Florida 20 years ago, Missy's place reminds me of why I love Florida so much. The bungalow had a lot of charm and character, and was simple in the best possible way. An ode to old Florida (the real Florida), it felt a million miles away from all of the concrete overdevelopment. Our mornings were peaceful, spent out on the private dock and our evenings were quiet, spent cozied up on the comfortable couches. During the day we worked in the Florida Room while listening to records. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we loved having access to a BBQ as well. We slept in the blue room, and the bed was like a cloud! My sister visited with her two kids and dog and they loved swimming at the lake beach across the street. The yard is huge, completely fenced in and perfect for dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the noise and enjoy some down time in a serene setting.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Great location & beautiful beach at the end of the street (5min or less walk). Very well appointed with all the comforts of home. The stocked storage room with beach accessories was more than we could’ve asked for. We plan to return the next time we vacation in Palm Coast!
