Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St. Joseph Island

The most beautiful AirBnb with an incredible view. The house is beautifully laid out and designed with really tasteful decorations. WiFi is also excellent given how remote the location is! The kitchen is very well equipped and the bunkie is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. Fran was so responsive and happy to help and very accommodating! Just make sure to bring your own water for drinking/cooking/brushing teeth!

Colette was an amazing host, she even surprised me with a birthday treat! The house is even nicer than the pictures, and the outside areas, decks etc.. while not so useful in negative temps, were awesome and you can tell there’s plenty of outdoor space as well as inside, in the more temperate months. She and her husband were great and so helpful. The house has great supplies, anything you need to feel at home. The sunroom is absolutely a stunning place to sit! Enjoyed watching the snow, sun and the deer wander through. Definite do-over.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

This house was absolutely stunning. The wood work was very detailed and fit the house well. It had so much room that it accommodated our 7 guests perfectly. It was very thoughtfully set up with furniture so we could be in the same room and hang out. We will definitely be back!

This was my first experience with air bnb. Nicole and her husband were super easy to book with. Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at their airBnB. Very clean and had all of the amenities and then some for a cozy family camping trip . What an amazing location to stay! We unfortunately had a medical emergency during our stay and Nicole and her husband were both so kind and hospitable offering us help if we needed it. I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay with more friendly hosts. If you’re thinking about booking do not hesitate!!

Was a great, quiet place to stay, our visit got cut short due to an ice storm but other than that it was wonderful, would and probably will definitely come back again

Nice and quiet neighborhood!

It was such a joy to stay at Krista’s place! Not only was the place bigger than expected, squeaky clean, had complimentary breakfast/coffee/tea, we even had free access to the gym downstairs and a discount at the cafe (which was delicious!) Krista was super quick to respond and helpful. My one recommendation if you stay here is to bring earplugs for sleeping, as the windows didn’t block out the noise from the street very well. Other than that, I would 100% stay at Krista’s place again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Soo.

Between the cabin that i had, and the northern landscape around the surrounding Thessalon area its probable one of the nicest places ive stayed. The lake is warm and crystal clear. Robin and her staff were the perfect hosts. If you stay at Northern Skies, i would also suggest you take the drive along 129 to Champleau. You will not want to miss that.
