Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in St. Louis

The house was as advertised and worked well for our family. A couple things to note- we were told that check-in time was at 4pm, we arrived at 5:45pm and there was a man in the driveway who was just sort of milling around, he said he had been cleaning the gutters and knew the host by name. I thought it was odd that he would be there when the host knew we were supposed to check in at 4pm, it almost felt as if he was waiting for us to get there. Additionally, later that evening we found out that there was a window in the basement that had been left open. That made me very uneasy since I was traveling with my children. The house was mostly well cleaned but it looked as if the stove had been used and not wiped down. The stair handles were dingy. I wish the host would have left any sort of all purpose cleaner, but I usually try to travel with clorox wipes. Overall it was fine and worked well for us to travel back and forth to the city from.

This was a return trip to Sean’s place! My family really likes the amazing kitchen and the comfortable space to gather and be together. It easily accommodates 6 adults who want to enjoy food, games and togetherness in a quiet neighborhood home in a nice area in STL! Sean is a great, responsive and thoughtful host as evidenced by making the home available to us earlier than the stated check in time once he knew we’d arrived in STL for our son’s 4p wedding!

I stayed here for a week with my girlfriend on vacation and had a good time. Everything was clean when we got there and there was plenty of necessities available as a courtesy. there were even some available for purchase as a convenience in the kitchen. The area is close to downtown so there's lots of things to do around and there is a parking spot in a gated parking lot so no need to worry about anything there.

Being a native of the St. Louis this Airbnb was perfectly nestled in central West End, which is one of the nicest areas in St. Louis. The instructions from the house were clear and precise and easy to follow. The check-in process was flawless. I was even able to check in an hour earlierthan normal check-in time which helped tremendously. I will definitely be using this every be one visit in St. Louis again.

This cozy property looks just like the photos, and is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, close to nearby shopping and restaurants. As many other guests have commented, the floors are creaky in places so it was not always possible to be completely quiet for the downstairs guests, and noise from their walking around could also be heard upstairs, but this was not too bothersome - it is expected in an old house. The kitchen was less well equipped than many Airbnbs I've stayed in, with no coffee maker or tea kettle, but there were enough pots and pans and other items so I could improvise. Wifi was super fast! Kenzie and Tyler provided good instructions in the app for my stay. This stylish apartment is quite large and comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again.

Justin's house was clean and everything was as advertised in the listing. There was easy access (15-20 minutes ) to the major attractions in St. Louis. Justin was super responsive as a host, and he was able to get a maintenance person out within a couple hours of us checking to replace a hard wired smoke alarm that was chirping. The neighbors have dogs that barked at us since we were strangers, but the dogs are friendly and after we made friends with the dogs they didn't bark as much. Overall I would recommend Justin's house, and we would stay again.

The air b&b was my home away from home for 11 weeks, it felt like home instantly. Matt and his wife are very friendly and responsive. I loved the home, the space and the walks to the best downtown ST. Charles shops and restaurants. I was here for a law enforcement training and all agencies around stated this was the best and safest area to be staying, I couldn’t agree more. I would recommend this home over and over again. Thank you for making my stay a great experience especially from being away from home for so long!

Spotless and with a real homey vibe. Loved morning coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the tree lined yard. Theater seats for watching tv in the basement was great. Cool little trampoline for children. Rocker in one of the bedrooms. Really liked the place. Would easily accommodate six with enough gathering places to allow spreading out. Unfortunately they were booked for the last days of my visit to the area. I would have loved to spend the entire time there!
