Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in St. Simons Island

This is the first year, we had a lengthy stay in this C3 unit and it was wonderful ! From the time we walked in, it was a great experience. Upon arrival, a nice note was left to" enjoy our stay" , and a few bottles of water and ice were available to us. The condo had a pleasant scent/fragrance and was so clean when we walked in. The unit itself was very updated and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and dishes etc. Nice to have a Keurig coffee machine that had a choice for a pot of coffee, or use with pods. Location of this unit was great for walking to the pier, beach and many restaurants and the sunshine we had sitting on our patio was wonderful. The king size bed is very comfortable, and lots of room for items in the walk in closet and dresser drawers. Extras that were there for our use were, clothes drying rack, 2 extra folding chairs for outside use , ironing board & iron, and hair dryer. Jodi was a great host, and we loved our stay.

It was very nice, neat, well kept, modern, yet "homey". It was a huge space, so clean. Me and my 3 kids all had our own space, but plenty of hang out together spaces too! Could not have been more quiet, peaceful and so close to everything we do on St Simons. Pictures don't do the size of the space justice. The pics show all the rooms/spaces and how nice and new they all are...but it's way bigger than you think. Mary was great, less than 5-10 minute responses. Totally positive experience for me and my kids, we are already planning to go back to this exact place w/ Mary!

We enjoyed our stay. Renovated condo was nice. Location in comparison to the pier and shops was ideal! We accidentally left some items in a drawer in the bathroom and Covenant quickly helped to locate it and start the process of mailing it to us. So thankful!!

This condo was perfect for my mom’s 61st birthday trip! Location is great, easily walkable to the pier and the restaurants, bars, and shops there. The condo looked exactly like the photos, kitchen was stocked, and it had enough room for 5 adults to comfortably hang out. Rachel was a great host, providing dinner recommendations and flexibility with check in and check out. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

We were only here a short time as we were heading back form a road trip, but Joshua's place was perfect for a stay. Everything was very clean, and he has whatever you need to make breakfast and all that. He had extra sheets, blankets, towels, whatever you need. Bed was super comfortable, and you are within a 5-minute drive to the action/ beach. We didn't get a chance to use the amenities, but if we were there longer, all looked very nice. I would definitely recommend this spot!

A beautiful cozy yet spacious home by the sea! Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. Very close to boardwalk and beach access. Just a short easy walk to driftwood beach, and definitely recommend spending an afternoon there. The kitchen has all the basics covered and the community is clean and quiet with friendly staff. Beds were comfy and had no trouble sleeping, which is usually a struggle while traveling. Mary is extremely responsive and even helped find and return a few things I forgot while packing to leave. Which is not something I usually expect from a host, but the effort was very appreciated! Highly recommend and will likely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit again! Close to restaurants and plenty of things to do in the area. Very nice place to stay.

The location was perfect! Unit exactly as described. Loved that the unit was a few steps away from the playground! The pools are nice. I appreciated the laundry detergent and bath soap/shampoo/conditioner!! The AC will not go below 70°, but that wasn’t an issue for us. I would definitely stay there again!

This was a great space! It was free of clutter, very clean, and in a great location. We drove less than 10 mins to the beach, and pretty much everything we wanted to do. The pool was also very well kept.

Love the layout of this condo! The bedrooms were tucked away from the main living area. It allows for more privacy. Very spacious for a two bedroom. Every thing was clean. Fully stocked kitchen. The front balcony was very private with beautiful views. The condo is a great location. You can walk or bike to most places.

This was our second time staying at Turtles Nest. Super clean. Well equipped. Wonderful amenities. Conveniently located to great restaurants , shopping and grocery stores. Looking forward to next year!

We had a great stay on StSimons. Biked and walked to the beach. Tennis court and the pool were also great. Beautiful grounds on a wonderful island. Many great restaurants and grocery store nearby. The condo meet all our needs and we plan to return.

We had a fantastic time at this condo. Laurel was a great host - we had no issues checking in or with any codes we were given for the front gate, beach gate, pool or beach. And she checked in with us multiple times to see if we needed anything. The condo is really clean and spacious and has a lot of extras like a laundry basket, hooks for beach towels, extra bath towels, games, and beach chairs. The outdoor pools are beautiful and the beach is stunning. We had a wonderful time and will stay there again next year.

The place felt fun and cozy at the same time. Located in a cute gated community and the condo overlooks the neighborhood pool as well as a little creek/stream/pond. The bedrooms are cozy and each room has its own TV. A small balcony and windows all over made the sunlight and the light breeze a nice touch. Easy entry with codes for the gate and the front door, plus 5 bikes (maybe there were six?) --- four adult and 1-2 smaller childrens bikes, as well as a bike pump and sand toys/beach caddy located in the storage. In terms of things that are good to know, there were people using leaf blowers each morning that were pretty intense (around 8ish-9ish), but didn't last too long. Also, we ended up purchasing a bike lock so we could take the bikes down to the village and shop/eat. Walking distance to the village pier and a local park, which altogether includes restaurants both high end and fast food, a 24-hour gas station with food and drinks and simple essentials too. Great spot!

Great 1 bedroom condo. Quiet easy walk to the beach and right down the street from driftwood beach. Would recommend and stay again.

Ideal spot for restaurants, amenities, and proximity to the beach. We really liked the ground floor level, and how nicely laid out the unit is. Starbucks is a short walk, and a little more effort puts you in the midst of a bunch of nice places to eat and shop. The hot water and water pressure is on point, and the washer and dryer are a huge plus.

Fantastic and comfortable place to stay close to FLETC. The house is well equipped with everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The house itself is very peaceful in a private location, while also being close to amenities. Kevin was an extremely responsive host who went above and beyond even bringing us a few extra items we requested. Highly recommend!

Our stay in St. Simons was absolutely perfect, thanks in large part to this uniquely charming cottage. The location couldn’t be better, and the cottage itself was ideal for the two of us and our dog. The heated pool and spa were the icing on the cake—we enjoyed them every single day. The weather was perfect, the island was peaceful yet fun, and some of our best moments were simply relaxing on the porch or in the beautiful backyard. A special shoutout to the hosts, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend St. Simons as a destination and this cottage as the perfect home away from home. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I found this house largely by chance when we decided on a place to stay on vacation, and we were so thrilled with it that we booked our vacation here next year before we’d even checked out this time! The house and location were beautiful, and everyone (including our kids and VERY energetic German shepherd) had plenty of room and fun activities to do. Kat is a fantastic host! Before we’d even arrived, she sent us messages with recommendations for things to do in the area (which we checked out several during our time and all were well worth it!!). She also was very responsive to any questions we had - right down to a fabulous recommendation for a local massage to treat a muscle strain in my shoulder. She was an incredibly gracious and kind host. We felt right at home here and were sad to leave - and already excited to come back next vacation to what feels like a home away from home. We loved our stay at St. Simon's! The condo is in a perfect location to be able to walk to town and the nice park area - so convenient and felt super safe. Inside was super clean and beds were really comfy. Courtlyn went above and beyond to help on my own package delivery issue, and the communication was so quick. Thanks for a great stay!
