Beautiful historic country coach house in Staffs

Beautiful historic coach house conversion: The site was a coaching inn, where travellers changed their horses and stayed overnight. The main bedroom wing of the coach house was built in 1580 and the sitting room wing in 1740. The building was restored in 2018, and mixes rustic charm with contemporary design. We're 30 minutes from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from Shugborough, 40 minutes from Sudbury Hall, with its museum of childhood, and only 20 minutes from the museums of the Potteries.

Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

Self Contained one bedroom flat. Easy access to Lichfield, Cannock Chase, Birmingham and the Toll Road. The accomodation has been fitted out to a high standard. Spacious open plan living room and kitchen with washer, tumble dryer. fridge freezer, counter top double electric hob, convection microwave, halogen oven, health grill/panini maker, electric fry pan, omlette maker, air fryer and wide screen TV. Spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

With plenty of well kept shared outdoor spaces, providing you with more facilities and homely space than any hotel room.

The Annex

We are situated just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall. We are a 25 minute drive from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from the market town of Leek and 20 minutes from the Potteries. The annex is a self contained building standing next to our home. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. We have a number of animals sharing our lives, most of whom are very happy to welcome visitors.
