On the Styrian Schilcherstraße, in the midst of orchards, vineyards, mixed forests, streams and Buschenschenken one can maintain idleness, go for a walk, hiking, looking for mushrooms and berries, picking chestnut, wine tasting, mountain biking, cycling or the nearest spa pay a visit. No sauna. No hot tub. No frills. Everything is quaint and nice ... Tiled stove, steep wooden staircase, unheated bathroom and old farm cabinets provide a quaint ambience.
“We had an amazing time at this cute Hütte next to Saint Stefan,if you enjoy hiking + drinking wine and don’t mind no luxury but an authentic experience this is the place to go. It’s small but has everything you would need for a few days plus it is a 250 years old chalet. Lovely experience.”
Kitchen available (Nespresso machine) We have a dog / hangover, so pets have to be discussed beforehand (one-time cleaning fee € 20.00). Looking forward to you!
“Everything was AMAZING. Marlene is super welcoming and friendly, the house is super romantic and the location perfect for nature lovers. Quiet and relaxing - yet amenities like internet works great! Very very much recommended!”
Our lovingly renovated Kellerstöckl is located on the Styrian Schilcher Wine Route with views of the surrounding regions to Graz. It adjoins our small yard with its own spring, which also supplies the guest house. The open-plan living room with fireplace invites you to relax in comfort. In the region there are some wine taverns, as well as numerous hiking and biking trails. In winter you are in 20 minutes in the family-friendly ski resort Modriach.
“What a beautiful cottage! Cosy, plenty of sun and easy to keep warm. The beds and duvet were a treat to sleep on, or even better curled up in front of the fire. It was a lovely place for a Christmas getaway with helpful, friendly hosts to share some holiday cheer with. Google maps gave us some trouble but Josef was able to show us the way up from the village. 5 stars!”
