“Jon is a great host who communicates promptly and wants everyone to enjoy his space. The cabin is accessible to all the local hikes and towns around it while still remaining very quiet. The view of the surrounding mountains from the backyard is the highlight of this property with stunning views at sunset as the sun hits the tallest peaks. The cabin is quaint and will have everything you need!”
Our place, which we call "The Shack", sits on 10 Acres in Stark, NH. The property borders the lazy Ammonoosuc River for nearly 1,500 feet with no neighbors in sight, but nature. We have (4) kayaks/boats for use, games, TV, with a huge grass lawn for frisbees & other stuff. Highlights include Jericho ATV Park, 10 miles away, floating down the lazy river, 3 hours from Gord's Store in West Milan, Stark Village, The White Mountains, campfires around our new fireplace heaven, and solitude.
“This place is amazing! Extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts have made sure you have everything you could possibly need, and more! Lots of space to spread out. We were surprised at how big the house actually is. Dozer, our Newfoundland dog, loved the water (we even saw moose tracks in the sand there), the yard, and the flooring (he likes cooler places to lay). The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. It was chilly outside at night, but the woodstove and electric heaters were all ready to go for us. The house stayed warm long after they were off. It's the perfect place to go if you are looking for privacy, peace, and quiet.”
