Pet-friendly vacation rentals in State College

Jessica was super helpful and responsive. The home is an older home with a remodeled kitchen and bathrooms that were newer and updated. The lot is gorgeous with a stream coming through- very peaceful. It was a short walk to the coffee shop and across the street is an open field/park.

We had a great stay. The place looks exactly like the pictures. Amenities matched the listing. It was a relatively easy 25-30 minute drive to State College. We enjoyed ourselves and would like to come back again in the fall!

Lovely, unique place. We were a group of 6-8 and we had no issues with space. The place had all the amenities you would want. Superb spot, would stay again.

Location is great for area activities. Matched the listing. Worked great for my family and dog. The neighborhood was easy for dog walking.

This is our third time staying at Matthew’s home so clearly we are fans! It has been the perfect stopping off point for us from the highway but if we had more time it would make a wonderful longer term stay because the surroundings are so beautiful and the hosts so warm. They are always so responsive although honestly there isn’t anything we have needed since they thought of it all!

The house was easy to find, spacious and clean. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. We only spent one night there, so we didn't get to see too much of the area. We did however get to go to Shy Bear Brewing and Easter End Coffee Co. We enjoyed both places and in town we enjoyed seeing the different painted goose statues.

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

The residence was fantastic. We had 3 adults staying there while attending a class at the State Fire Academy. The location was perfect and very peaceful for studying and getting work and rest. We will definitely look at this residence first for our next trip.

Great little camper on a great campground. We are a family of 4 (2 young kids) and the camper as well as the campground was perfect for everyone. Will come back!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our family. The cabin was very clean and so cute! The location was also very convenient. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Michele and Kate's Airbnb is even better than described -- it is spacious, warm, and luxurious! The kitchen is incredible and had many condiments to use, and the bathrooms are pure luxury with so many extras such as bath salts, toothpaste, etc. The views out of every window are spectacular. The beds are comfortable, and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It's clear this is a well-loved home turned into an Airbnb. Kate was really warm and helpful when I had questions. This Airbnb is a real bargain looking at all that it offers, and I am hopeful it will be available the next time my family is in the area. Thank you, Michele and Kate, for making our holiday special!

Holly was a wonderful host. The place had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. And you can’t beat the location, literally a 10 second walk to the turn one gate at Port Royal. We had an A+ experience.

The home was spotless and looked just like photos. Looks to be a recent quality renovation. The place was also stocked with all the conveniences and comforts for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy. The beds were extra comfy and linens crisp. We came to town to support my son in a basketball tournament. The space was perfect for our family and the kids loved the playroom. We’d definitely come back and stay again. Worth it!

We loved our time at this stay - tons of room, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, and lots of activities. Perfect place for a birthday or family getaway. We stayed up all night playing ping pong!

We booked a last minute cabin while on a hiking weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! We checked in pretty late, but were greeted and given the walk through. The bathrooms were clean, the cabin well air conditioned, and the bed was much much better than our sleeping bags, especially on the rainy weekend. It was a beautiful place, and we'd love to be back.

Vanessa and George were such amazing hosts! They responded so quickly every time I reached out and were more than accommodating. We were a group of people coming into town for the PSU football game and this stay was in a perfect location and worked out beautifully for our group. We even got to use the hot tub after a long day of tailgating. I highly recommend staying here! The grounds are beautiful! We’ll be back for sure.

Leah was very prompt with all responses and the apartment provided just what we needed very comfortably. Bonus points for the exercise equipment and spacious back yard!

This place is such a beautiful and unique. I love the peace and the really huge backyard. I love that it’s so quiet too. Definitely thinking about going back

We've stayed at Whitetail Cottage on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Bathrooms are always spotless. Bed linens are comfy. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, utencils, and small appliances - making it easy to cook for a couple or a large group. I appreciate the spices and condiments - it's nice not having to remember to bring every little ingredient. There is a nice yard in the back and on the side of the house for both humans and animals to enjoy. This house is comfortable and clean. We'll keep coming back as long as they'll let us!

Cozy and very clean. The porch is so nice, and it’s very peaceful to stare out at the mountains in the distance and listen to the birds chirping. Fire ring area was very nice. Everything was nicely kept. We had a really good time, and had everything we needed.

The place is nice and is as described. Kathy is very responsive. Check in and check out is the easiest I have ever had. Would definitely rent from Kathy again.

Great cabin nestled in the mountainous woods at the top of a hill. Nice winter views of the mountains. Lots of beds in the upstairs loft, comfortable bedding, and a well stocked kitchen! We really enjoyed the place. There is not heat/air conditioning in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, so we had to sleep with bedroom doors open to capture heat from the living area, but it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit when we were there, so that might only be a problem during extreme temperatures. Don't let that scare you away though, everything else about the place was terrifiic!

It was a great experience for us and the pups! Lovely area, perfect for disconnecting from the world and connecting with nature!
