With our bikes you can reach Steinhude in 15 minutes. There is enough space for 2 adults and 1-2 children.

The vacation rental is located in the annex of our house in Sachsenhagen, which is located in the beautiful Schaumburg region between Deister and Steinhuder Meer. The cozy wooden house is in the immediate vicinity of Steinhuder Meer (about 150 m). There is a modern fully equipped kitchen, a light-flooded living room, a master bedroom and a children's room with a bunk bed as well as a sofa bed. There is a shower in the small bathroom. The large natural garden offers plenty of space for the children to play while the parents can linger on the wooden terrace. The infrared heaters provide comfortable warmth.

There is a covered terrace with a grill and seating. Here you can enjoy the view over the wide valley, to the Steinhuder Meer. The Eulenloch is separated from our Eulennest by a hallway. Both apartments have separate entrances, but share a common house access.

Our lovingly renovated 100-year-old house is centrally located in Steinhude, but quietly on a side street. In a cozy apartment and in the natural garden there is space to be alone and to unwind. Shopping and breakfast options, public transport and a beautiful playground are only a 3-minute walk away, to the water 7 minutes, to the swimming island 15 minutes. There are many excursion opportunities in and around Steinhude, even in bad weather.

Daily necessities are easily reached on foot or by bike.
