The barn is nestled in a small hamlet with a handful of houses and makes the perfect base for a spot of isolation. You will be hard pushed to bump into anyone. Get away and soak up our wonderful view over Devon countryside and the fresh air! We take our guests’ health seriously, ensuring every surface is cleaned with disinfectant and we use high water temperatures for all our washing. We also provide cleaning products, soap and hand wash that you can use during your stay.
“HIGHLY recommended. We only wish we had more time there. Exceptional barn fitout that has been carefully and lovingly built. AWESOME views through a huge 2 story window across the valley farms. Fully equipped kitchen, clean modern bathroom and dining area. Loft bedroom with the same valley views and really comfy bed. Really nice to wake up to the sounds of cows and sheep. Great pub in town for a meal. Quite at night and dark to follow all the stars. Off street parking with beautiful English gardens. Thanks for having us.”
Bright and airy accomodation in the lovely waterside village of Stoke Gabriel. Large open plan living space with cooking facilities, dining table and sofa bed. One bedroom with a king size bed and en suite shower room. A short walk from the village centre, with it's own private entrance and windows overlooking a rural hillside; the Annexe is perfect for a quiet get away.
“This was our second holiday at Ed and Vicky's place. We really enjoyed staying there. The location was lovely and quiet and well placed for days out. Ed and Vicky were great hosts, friendly and descreet. The chickens were fun to watch and a delight to hand feed, they also provided delicious eggs! Inside, the sofa was the comfyest yet to watch TV by, bathroom spotlessly clean, good quality towels and bed linen, so we felt quite spoilt. Cooking facilities met all our needs with nothing lacking. Their handbook is informative and well written. All practical measures were taken regarding Coronavirus and we felt quite safe. The local shop was friendly and well stocked, the Mill Pool is within a short walk, where we walked around the edge of the water, as the tide was out, this isn't possible at high tide though. Would thoroughly recommend Ed and Vicky's and hope to come back another year. Thankk you!”

“We booked a very last minute stop off at Lucy and Andy's teepee and couldn't have made a better call! The orchard is a great setting and we quickly settled in, getting the fire going and cooking with the logs provided, before cosying up under the rugs in the shelter of the teepee. If you arrive in the daytime you'll notice the odd train coming past, but we didn't notice any at night, and earplugs are provided just incase. The family were very welcoming and we'd happily return in the future.”
