Vacation rentals in Stonewall Jackson Lake

We had a fantastic stay at Sylvia’s Airbnb! The space was much more spacious than the pictures suggested, and it had such a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for cooking meals, and we really appreciated having laundry and a hot tub—both great bonuses after long days on the slopes. The location was super convenient, making it easy to get to Snowshoe. The only downside was that essential supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags were limited. While Sylvia wasn’t able to restock them during our stay, she did reimburse us for what we purchased, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to book again next winter!

Walkable to western territory!! Was the closest Ive ever stayed to the slopes and was well worth it !!!

Paradise! We stay at a lot of airbnb's and this is now at the top of our list. The location is unbeatable - we even caught a few, fly fishing right out the door, despite low water conditions. We lived on the peaceful porch. The cabin was cosy, well equipped, super clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly helpful. Can't say enough good things. We dream of coming back (hopefully when the water conditions are a little better for fishing).

Perfect stay and location for a weekend of hiking in West Virginia. We hiked Seneca Rocks, Chimney Top, and Nelson Rocks. Also great food & drink at Big Timber Brewing and Smoke on the Water BBQ. Conveniently located right near Elkins for groceries, gas, and food options. It was awesome to use the fire pit, as well as relax on the top balcony listening to the stream run by. We would love to stay here again some day.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home—it truly felt like a home away from home. Wendy was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. She had everything you could possibly need or want already available, which made our stay even more comfortable. Even when we reached out a few times, she responded quickly and kindly every time. The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We had an amazing experience, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family retreat!

If your looking for tranquility, this is the place. Sitting by the fire, listening to the river, provides the peacefulness you are looking for. The host was quick to respond and the listing is as described. Our family enjoyed the private location and time spent together.
